Geez - I hope Meaney isn't reading this. He just got compared to Tim Moltzen but slower and with less of a sidestep!
If that's true we should sign my 12 yr old daughter - she's got more pluck than Moltzen ever had. On my list of the top ten "Biggest joke of a footballer to ever pull on a Tigers jersey" - I have Bwaith Anasta in positions 1 through to 9 and Moltzen as 10!

What a rubbish post, showed more courage than you have in this post.

Really.. sorry, but in IMO Anasta was an absolute joke of a footballer at WTs, and Moltzen played very few decent games in his NRL career. Is that courageous enough for you?

As for having a metal plate in his head - no, I did not realise that.

Don't stress mate. I'd rather read a post like yours with a potential offer that could work in WTs favour than half the other stuff that's put on our forum, e.g. Curtis Rona rubbish (not even funny).

As for having a metal plate in his head - no, I did not realise that.

He fractured his skull as a 17 year old after copping a knee to the head during a game. He missed a year of football and made it back. He went on to make first grade so for someone to imply he was gutless has no idea. He displayed plenty of pluck to get back and make 1st grade.

I really like Reynolds, and even though he's contribution on the field has been pretty much nought, if Benji retires he could be handy.

Otherwise who's partnering Brooks?
Walters?

We could see
6. Reynolds
7. Brooks
9. Liddle
14. Walters

Agree he could be handy, but I would like to see an injury free run before I was convinced.

All great sentiment and who doesn't like the guy! But if we want to be serious about Finals and GFs, we need to cut our losses and move on. Take whatever balance we can from his contract and add it to our kitty to buy a younger, proven NRL no:1 or no:6 (whichever we need depending on how AD pans out). The real issue is finding a quality player that fits and wants to come to us.

Moltzen was good man . His combo with benji was awesome , it’s just in defence he “wouldn’t stick his head in” . To me that’s fine . He did fracture his skull ! It would have taken some serious mental gymnastics just to get back out there . Calling him soft because of that , it’s pretty ignorant , and borderline moronic .

Bloody oath, spot on.

Eh , his defence against newy had me very concerned. It was really noticeable that Luke wasn’t there . It made the already erratic Leilua brothers look like a pair of basket cases. I felt like him as a spark plug off the bench , is his position moving forward . I wouldn’t even be surprised if that’s exactly what the dogs are thinking .

If we get rid of Reynolds for only $250K next year we should buy a lottery ticket.

AS far as Moltzen is concerned, yes he is brave for playing 1st grade with a plate in his head, but not brave enough. Would religiously hand off to a winger for the tough stuff and wouldnt tackle. For his condition, he was tough, but first grade isnt a rehabilitation programme. It doesnt accept anything but flat out.

If Reynolds only cost us $250k moving forward then I agree we should jump at that.
