Reynolds to Broncos

Reynolds is so good because his 6 and 9 compliment him so well.
He's always had a good fullback.

He won't be afford these luxuries at the broncos.
Plus he's got whatever underlying issues that everyone keeps forgetting to mention.

Good for Broncos.
Maybe they'll get a year or two out of him before he's completely busted and then what, back to Gamble and Croft.

The only thing he has is a kicking game. Its cliche, but put him in an average side and it will throw a cat amongst the pigeons. I hope the Broncs have plans on bringing in a few others, otherwise they are still a bottom 4 side in my eyes

Lol @ the Sharks though,.

I still reckon it makes more sense for Reynolds to sign with the Sharks. Yes he will do wonders for the Donkeys, but I think the Sharks are performing better (pre-Bomber sacking.)

He makes Cronulla a top 5 team IMO.

So he would improve us then?

South’s rarely get it wrong.

Will be interesting to see how he goes behind a weak forward pack.

The Broncos Back is Ok, Their just not linking to the Backline.

Opens the door for Moses M to move to the Sharks, so it’s a win for us

I fear Mbye will ride out the last year of his contract in 2022.

I think he will. There’s been literally no noise since he confirmed he’d been given permission to talk to other clubs. We don’t even want him and we are 2nd last. What use would teams above us have for him? He could go back to the Dogs if they lose Burton. That would be just about his only option imo.

I don't think we have a choice. We'd have to cover so much of his freight it's not worth releasing him.

Depends what happens with blokes like Johnson , Dugan , Moylan imo

There was literally noise only a couple of days ago linking him to a couple of unknown Sydney clubs for next season. Don't recall what thread however it was mentioned on this forum.

I do think he is a man of his word ...I think he wants to get out in 2021 ...just who will pick up even half his wages in the NRL ....

How lucky are we that we didn’t sign him. Dodged a bullet here. Imagine signing a premiership winning SOO half who can lead a team around, one of the best kicking games and one of the best goal kickers of all time. Do the luke Brooks fan boys put his poster up on their walls? Is that why they get so nervous every time we are linked to a decent half?

Imagine having a 34yo on your books at $850pa. What could go wrong?

They can decline pretty rapidly at that age. Look at Thurston his final year.

Depends how well they go in the years prior. Even if they carry him for a year but have made Top 4 it may be well worth it. Especially if they have new halfbacks he has passed his knowledge onto

Bit like the Buddy to Swans deal, Big at the time but all they needed to do was win a flag in the 10 years and its probably worth it (they haven't but have made the GF)

They really have fallen far. This is not something the powerhouse Broncos would have ever thought of doing. The damn well moved on the King.....

They've signed one of the best halfbacks in the comp for (supposedly) the same money the Cows signed Townsend for. It's a good signing who will make their team much stronger. Wish we had him.

Absolutely, the difference between Reynolds and Brooks is enormous, and we could have offered less than Brooks is on and maybe got him

The Broncos deal is understood to be worth just over $2 million for three seasons, while the Sharks tabled an offer that was $200,000 more than that

Not even close to $850k, not even $700k, and he will turn 34 in his final year, he is 30 now, we had Benji playing at 35 and plenty wanted to keep him.
At less than Brooks money, this is a steal, not sure how you could bag it, unless you are deflecting our poor deal with a 7
