They really have fallen far. This is not something the powerhouse Broncos would have ever thought of doing. The damn well moved on the King.....

They've signed one of the best halfbacks in the comp for (supposedly) the same money the Cows signed Townsend for. It's a good signing who will make their team much stronger. Wish we had him.

Absolutely, the difference between Reynolds and Brooks is enormous, and we could have offered less than Brooks is on and maybe got him

He got $850Kpa for 3 years at Broncs, SHarks offered 3years at $800K.

What makes you think he would come here for less than Brooks is on?

I mean reynolds is all that in a top 4 team, let’s see how goes in a bottom 4 team. Because right now brooks is miles ahead in try assists. Tackle efficiency and forced drop outs about the same. Goal kicking doesn’t matter because we have Adam doing that for us.

Yep Brooks is like for like with Adam Reynolds. Identical in everyway.

Making a play doesn't mean they'll get him.

Watching him on Matty Johns face to face, he loves Melbourne and owes them a lot.
A starting option for #1 for a team like Bris might be too good to refuse though.

Not even close to $850k, not even $700k, and he will turn 34 in his final year, he is 30 now, we had Benji playing at 35 and plenty wanted to keep him.
At less than Brooks money, this is a steal, not sure how you could bag it, unless you are deflecting our poor deal with a 7

I wonder if somebody will quote those figures to Rothfield. They're similar to the figures he used the other night with Latrell and WT to suggest good players didn't want to play for Wests.

Doesn’t matter. Remember before kick off last season Broncos were premiership favourites. Seibold fixed that, but they are basically the same unit except for Fafita and now Coates. All they ever needed was a decent half and now they’ve got one of the best. Look at their squad. They’re top 4 next year.
