wat a smart idea to move naiqama to the left side and break up the nofolomu and naiqama combination

this is great coaching

True it is but also to move Suli into the centres where he can make a bigger contribution. It defies logic why it took a change of coach to implement the changes.

Hard to believe that it wasn't at least tried before, it wasn't exactly a world shattering move .
Just another example of our previous coache's reluctance to admit that he needed to be more flexible in his ideas.
Something was needed to be done about the right side, as everyone but JT knew that it was an invitation to score almost whenever they wanted.

Concratulations on the win WTs,players, coach and assistants …..some good changes made and some shuffling around seems to have made the difference..JT is now gone and there is no need to compare his coaching to Clearys ...

Should have been done ages ago… Everyone could see it except the one or two decision making types.

Don't know if it will be a permanent change , but I think Cleary was just trying to throw the Cows off

These blokes didn't become better defenders overnight

If you watch the game again (and gee it's nice to actually like watching a game again  ) our compressed line was far less compressed and we showed some faith in the bloke beside us

I think how that is best shown in Taylor's missed tackles , he was working like a one legged man in a butt kicking contest , he was shot with 5 to go

Didn't help that he was taking on the man mountain most the night

The other thing I didn't mention was we seemed to have more blokes around the legs than usual , how we shut down Tamausloslo (LOL for EB's amusement )

We were calling Ethan Lowe , Ethan Slowe and Taumalolo Taumasloslo for our own amusement

also Naquamis turning speed is alot faster than Sulis to chase kicks behind.

Probably Kevins best game in a long time. Keep him on the wing

We held our line better true, we didn't compress as much true, but in my opinion the key deference other than attitude was how the inside players were coming across in cover!

Good to have a coach that can see what's been bleeding obvious to fans for 2 years. How JT never saw it as a problem and fixed it I'll never know.

That's why jt had to go. Not flexible enough to change tack.

Cleary in one game…

I understand but also "just one game". Tigers have to keep this up, it's not enough to find a temporary fix.
