England defended very well for most part and Tongas last tackles and completions not good enough….i still feel Tonga got sime rough ref calls.
I hate games determined by refs

Most of it was from ill discipline from Tonga.

As for the last play responsibility should be on the ball carrier. Stripping is about intent the motion of the English player's arm looked like it was just part of the tackle. It's not a robbery by any stretch of the imagination.

And let's face it… The best team won. England will be a bigger test for Australia.

I wonder what hapoened to this?

KANGAROOS players will wear a special insignia on their jerseys relating to how many Test matches they have played for the first time.
>
Coach Mal Meninga has pushed for greater recognition for players who have worn the green and gold. Players who have played more than 20, 30, 40 or 50 games will have distinct markings on their jerseys during the end of season Four-Nations tournament.
>
Cameron Smith, who has played 44 matches, will have a differing insignia to that of teammate Johnathan Thurston, who has played 33 Tests.
>
Retired players will also be presented with a special award acknowledging major milestones at the Kangaroos reunion on October 9 at the SCG. There will be different milestones for reaching 20/30/40/50 matches for players and ex-Kangaroos coaches for the first time.

After watching his efforts for Tonga, am stocked that we have him, just not sure what his best posy is

A great utility player to have on the roster.
He is evasive runner and May do well at fullback.
Tend to agree that he is only stopgap 5/8.

Kevie is an absolute legend and a credit to his country

I didn’t get to see the game, but what did Kevvie do to get all the wraps,
I was thinking that he played on The same side of Holmes. With six tries against that wing. It’s hardly the sign of a great game for him.
As I said, I missed the game?

While it was a 50/50 call, I was happy with the loose carry call as they have been calling these all tournament.

Cant see England testing Australia for 80min next week.

I hope you did not miss the game Tonga Vs Lebanon where the first try was blatantly off side at the ten metre mark than the Lebs had a try disallowed by a extremely small involuntary obstruction - and only 2 points being the difference! The off side try is in the highlights at 30 second mark. If the pass had been backward the defending winger was right on hand for an intercept.

His valiant chase on the try scorer at the death when his team was getting belted by 50 was an impressive effort and the sign of a good leader. Was proud of him watching that.

Let it go 'Ron, you will have a coronary stressing about the Leb's all off-season….......

Don't worry mate, I am seeking compensation for psychological damage! They won't get away with that. Souths have not forgiven Tigers for 1969 yet so..

So what?????

They had nothing to forgive - they were beaten fair and square. They were not good enough.

Tigers have not forgiven them for 1909….

Word of advice (if you don't mind) - forget Lebanon, Moses and Farah and I am sure you will have a longer stress free life Lol.

Yeah that was pure guts and determination. Watching it live I thought he might have caused Holmes to drop it - he got a good piece of him.

Didn't watch either, but wasn't Kev at fullback?

Yes he was Fullback…his defence was quite good..saved 3 TRIES at least..one on Dugan in particular one on one 2 metres from the Tryline..his chase on Holmes run away was also impressive

If he defended like that every week I would happily have him in FG..

Also asked questions receiving the ball out the back in attack and threw the pass for Vunivalu's TRY..tho it was a class pick up by him..
