Kevie is an absolute legend and a credit to his country

I didn’t get to see the game, but what did Kevvie do to get all the wraps,
I was thinking that he played on The same side of Holmes. With six tries against that wing. It’s hardly the sign of a great game for him.
As I said, I missed the game?

Didn't watch either, but wasn't Kev at fullback?

As I said, I don’t know, he may have been.
But looking at the score, you wouldn’t think that there were many( if any )who shone in defence.
I was just curious to read some of the comments. It sounded like a blinder from Kevvie.

Just watched a replay of the Fifita no try and I'm happy with the refs call. Looked like a pretty straight forward loose carry to me.

It was just not his performance on the field, it is how he lead the team before during and after each game. He showed true passion and guts for his team who were outclassed but never gave up.

Yes he was Fullback…his defence was quite good..saved 3 TRIES at least..one on Dugan in particular one on one 2 metres from the Tryline..his chase on Holmes run away was also impressive

If he defended like that every week I would happily have him in FG..

Also asked questions receiving the ball out the back in attack and threw the pass for Vunivalu's TRY..tho it was a class pick up by him..

Yeah Vuinvalu made him look better with that pick up - it was freakish. Kev also threw a horribly telegraphed ball for a runaway intercept try to Holmes. He looks dangerous running on those sweep plays but his passing game is miles behind Tui's.

Can we please sign the Jilaroos number 7 asap. Her kicking game is awesome, completely bamboozling the poor Canadian fullback. Brooks could learn something.

Fair enough,
I’m off to the final next week (thanks to my Daughter in law,she organised it as a Boys day out for my Son & grandson , myself ,and her Dad )
I think my Son struck gold there.
was hoping that Tonga would be playing; instead it’s the Poms,
Still it will be good to see them and Uncle Wayne get done.

The Lord moves in mysterious ways, if the Tongans had played and lost you may not have got home safely. I would have loved to see them as well. Did you see how their footie team has actually united the country - terrific. It may do the same for PNG and West Papua one day.

Agree.

Good call from ref.

Maybe should have gone to video ref at such a critical time in the game but backed himself and got it right.

How much do the aussies, beat the poms by.Im going to say by 16.

The Kangaroos still havent clicked into top gear yet. England will hold them within scoring distance for 20 minutes and then the floodgates will be blown open.
I suspect a 42 point demolition.

just saw the last play of tonga england. think it's a 1 on 1 strip, ball goes foward, fifita picks up and scores a try.

very stupid from the ref to not refer it. the way he made the call was a little arrogant and the speed with which he made it tells me, he didnt even see the strip.

Don't worry mate, Tonga got away with a beaut blatant forward pass for their first try against Lebs at the ten metre line, they would have lost without that try.

Silver ferns taking it to the Aussie girls….showing the right attitude
