Surely they're not serious?

4: A guy that had such a great impact in the NRL on the wing, And a position that bought out the best in him (The mostly the only reason anyone knows who he is) is suddenly an NRL starting centre?

10: I would like to see what Galloway can offer from the bench, He seriously lacks leg speed and (I feel) is too slow for the initial speed of the game

11 - 13: Sironen is an NRL starting lock all of a sudden?? He's not ready for the middle!!
I'd like to see him optioned at centre to replace Ayshford… I can't see him being much slower, As he can Pass!!
Would prefer to see Fulton tighten up our ruck defence in the middle - If in the starting side at all. He doesn't have a big enough impact out wide!!
Blair has done his best work for us in the middle, Pushing him back to the edge may come with consequences

14-17: Fulton, Sironen, Halatau and Anasta are all very similar players... Utilities!! - There is no way we can afford to have 4 of them in the same side unless Siro is played at centre as mentioned.... Fully fit at least 2 of these boys should be in Ressies!!
Ava and Tapau I can live with...
Fail to see what Anasta will offer from the Bench. His best game for us was at 6 against the Dragons!!

Points of note: No room for BMM, Jesse or Marika in the side?
I also feel Marika would be great at centre if he were put in between say Richards and another experienced player to push him around a bit...
Big, Strong, Super quick... With a bit of direction... He could be absolutely lethal!!

my bet is halatau and galloway will be on the bench where sue will start- sirro/bmm/tapau/ava/buchanan etc. vying for the other 2 spots for round 1.

I've heard a few mention Rowdy has dropped some weight, so I cant see him moving to 6 if this is the case.

Its an interesting idea though to fit everyone in as Brooks is equipped with a pretty good kicking game.

I can't believe I'm seeing people put Simona at wing and Nofa at centre, when both were so effective last year in the other positions… If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

There's so much competition in the forwards this year, it'll be good to see the BEST 17 picked, rather than the FITTEST! We'll also have guys like Ava, Buchanan and Sue, who this time last year had zero first grade experience, all now with 20 or so games under their belt.

Simona lit up the field from Left Wing not Centre!

Nofo was brilliant last year also with his kick returns/1st tackle hit-ups. I'm hoping Pat will give us something similar and I assume he will be in the team somewhere. Nofo will end up in the Centres at some stage?

Lawrence/Simona Left Side will be lethal!

he's played a tonne at centre in NSW Cup and if used effectively he can be just as lethal there in attack. I'd love to see those switch plays we used to do with lawrence. Centre goes out and winger comes in. It's a little confusing and puts tim in space.

It was not the only time either that he made good ground from there, he is a centre that can also play well at wing and at the back

Also, I thought the idea of playing Lawrence at 5/8th had been done.

I tend to agree Smeg. We really do need some extra grunt in the backrow this year. Halatau and Fulton do not provide this. BMM, Sirro, Sue and Paterson do. As much as I like Richards as a player, he's not lightning quick and I can only see Koro improving provided he gets an injury free run ahead of him this season.
