... guess im gonna have to go iphone...

I havn't started on the android app (well only slightly)
don't make your decision based on RoarFEED though

Kul - I dont think you understand the importance of your App in the marketplace…

This is almost the sole decider for me. (No Pressure - Android version by end of March is acceptable)

Chop Chop.

RoarFEED was submitted for review today.
tbh i'm half expecting Apple to come back with "issues", but fingers crossed it gets approved first go around!

wow, 8 days after submitting the app Apple have finally started to review it.
I'm half expecting them to reject it initially, citing minor technicalities, but either way the app has taken another step forward!

We should get a response within 24 hours

will keep you all posted

That's great news so i can buy an iphone now…..never needed 1 before

Ok team! It's now LIVE! Please use it, tear it to shreds and come back to me lots of yummy bugs to fix!

I'm going to be submitting the first update later this afternoon (just some minor technicalities)
If anyone spots any bugs in the next few hours please let me know and i'll try and get the fix included, otherwise it will have to wait until next week.

Oh yeah? Pm me details and I'll see what I can do.
It's mostly JSON and XML generated by php

For various reasons (University/Work) I haven't been able to get as far as I'd hoped.

Since you've got an iphone version out (Congrats btw!!), I'm going to have to steal an iphone and see how the app works so I can make it exactly the same on the Windows phone.

Unless you want to post screencaps of every page in the app

Hey Kul,

Minor thing I noticed. When reading news articles, instead of having a quotation mark at the beginning of a comment, it's got “

Not sure if it's fixable but just thought I'd point it out as its a bit difficult to read some of the news articles - I noticed it especially in the "Wests Tigers announce two more sponsors" story as it's full of comments from the sponsors themselves.

Thanks mate.

Yeah something has gone wrong. It was working before
Will try and have it fixed by the weekend

Hey Sataris,

Is their a big diff between Windows and Android???

Havent seen on yet?

Whats the Benefit apart from it not being Apple or Google.

great idea, but …. the font is so small it is very difficult to read. If you enlarge the font not all the text is readily visible. why can't we turn the iphone to read the text in landscape, instead of portrait. And when finishing reading a forum post on one topic you go back to the home screen and then the forum again before finding the topics

anyway well done !!!

the forum interface is being completely reworked. The current interface is just temporary

the minimalistic approach for the forum interface is a good idea as a graphics heavy interface such as the one we have on here would take ages to load over 3G

i'm sure you've already thought of this … but just double checking
