Just for clarification … is lock of the year awarded to the lock who finishes up on the highest points out of all the locks? Or are the positional awards separately judged?

i believe its based on the points but itll be interesting to see where certain players get nominated in when they play multiple positions

It's not based on points as Robbie polled more points than that foreheadless spastic last year but still didn't win it.
