Robbie Farah..Discussion Thread.....

if its true there is a media ban on Taylor, he needs to walk.

Or is it the club trying to take some of the media spotlight away from Taylor so he can get on with what he is paid to do and that is coach the team. If that is the case it is a good thing. Lets face it, no matter what he says to the media they will report a negative slant on it. Drama sells more advertising

He spoke to the Media on 9 News the night Ritchie's 'exclusive' broke …saying the Clubs position hasn't changed....as per the last Official statement on the matter Justin Pascoe said that the Club would continue to work with Farah and his management regarding his playing future with Wests Tigers....details of those conversations set to remain confidential....

What is Taylor supposed to say...

How about sorry?

1) Sorry for urinating on people in public
2) Sorry to Fa'alogos fist
3) Sorry to the Tigers fans for his reinventing the wheel policy boring tactics
4) Sorry for being arrogant
5) Sorry for his media interviews
6) Sorry for not syncing with his teams strengths
7) And a big big sorry for the Robbie Farah saga

Really? give him a chance? I think the young impressionable minds at the Tigers are on board the JT train.

Why don't people admit it JT is our coach only because

1) The board hired Brian Smith for the football review
2) Brian recommended JT based on mateship
3) JT prbs earning peanuts

Oh sure lets give JT a ten year plan..

Danny states Marty was supposedly not happy with Jason's coaching.
Marty did not like gluten free food - don't blame him on that.
That Aaron Woods is not happy but has to put on a face for sake of everything.
blah blah
–----------------------------------------------
and of course we will have the predictable responses in choir

If Danny is right then we are in for real trouble - discuss

Tiger troubles

Marty Taupau's decision to leave the Tigers mid-contract was never fully explored because his deal was leaked by a Canadian theatre critic. That became the story, instead of his need to get out. You ask players why Taupau left and the whispered answer is that he didn't want to be coached by Jason Taylor.

At a media conference he was asked if being coached by Taylor was an issue. He gave a long answer about how he and Taylor are mates and that he will do anything for the man. There was no reference to how great it was being coached by Taylor.

My information is he didn't like the way he was being played, didn't like the position he was playing and the gluten free diet that the players were on at the club. He laughed off my line of questioning. "There's no bad blood," he said. "Only respect." And I asked the strongest man in the game if he was still avoiding gluten. "I eat whatever … I eat food," he said.

Then there is the man most likely or at least best-credentialed to be the Tigers leader – Aaron Woods. There are rumblings he isn't happy but again, when I suggested that, he waxed lyrical about how great the club is. If Woods is unhappy the Tigers are in real trouble. With Robbie Farah no longer the club's centrepiece he is their heart and soul and he must be on the same page as Taylor.

Frankly speaking Danny cannot be making up these stories, he would have been sacked ages ago, it is not the DT. If Danny is reporting whisperings why isn't Tallis (Potter affair) treated with the same disrespect as Weidler?

Gossip sells papers…He''l keep his job forever...

While i'm youtubing, i thought id post this

And somehow everyone always points the finger at Taylor for what happened. It couldn't be that the guy who did it was just a lunatic who had a history of coward punching players in the middle of games.

So Tapau was lying in the first interview saying he went because of the money and that he respected JT.

Now he says it is JT that was the problem and woods is not happy either.

Who is to say he is not lying again. Don't believe a word he says - once a lyer always could be fibbing.

Cannot be making this up? Are you for real? The article even says that he didn't say anything, and actually says the opposite in quotes from Marty…!!!! Good god mate! What is wrong with you?

Just as Tallis's gossip re Farah/Potter keeps him in a job?

At least Danny's questions were first hand, above board in front of camera - whereas Tallis' was a private conversation a year earlier trusted to by a friend. I know which I would prefer.

Put simply JT put himself in thst position, why didn't the assistant trainer get knocked out..

No disrespect intended though was it the cups fault when JT threw urine at the cricket?

Everyone makes mistakes, more importantly JT social skills are questionable hence the point, regardless of skills you need to have man management skills as a leader, judging by form JT is lacking these skills thus he is more suited to a back office or lower grade role as against coaching the cream of the crop.

Without naming names I can gaurantee you that certain other senior players aren't on the same page as JT. You can spin it, shape it however one likes, the fact is time will prove this.

Personally I don't hate Taylor, all I know is as per above. All a waste of bits till proven otherwise? Surely?

By all means let him have his 3 years..

Typical Weidler…ask the player a question and he gives you an answer that in no way supports the rubbish line you're pushing, but you push the rubbish line anyway. If you quote Weidler's opinion as in any way legitimate then you're as much of a gibberer as the man himself.
