There is another way to look at this.
Robbie does not have to leave. He can stay if he wants to.

How many on this forum have said that it's time to stop accepting mediocrity. Has Farah's performance looked truly committed this season? Haven't we called for players to be dropped to reggies if they aren't performing?

He has said that he is committed to WT. Ok, let's see it. Lets see actions speaking louder than words.

Look at Chris Lawrence. It looks to me like he really does love the WT and his actions have demonstrated that he is willing to give it his all week in and week out, because he wants to stay.

Does anyone believe that if Farah was performing at a commitment level similar to Lawrence's that he'd get dropped to reggies? I don't and I'd be all for him staying if he did take his commitment to WT to a new level.

I just watched the press conference or lack thereof one from Taylor, he carried on like a idiot why bother having one just issue a statement.
Regardless whether or not Robbie is worth the coin he is on he's been treated appallingly, being told you'll play Reggie's is a disgrace, this club is a farce My opinion of Taylor is he's clueless and lost the dressing room.
This all could have been handled so much better and if they didn't want Robbie as he said in his presser why do it at such a late stage, no time to farewell fans limited time to find a new club its ridiculous there's no way in the world this club is getting another cent out of me or my family end of.

Yeah, surely they would have made this decision prior to the Leichhardt game, where he could have had a send off from there.

I think now I'm of the same opinion in regards to membership etc….............can't believe they had the gall to send out an email last week and then do this.

What the hell are the rest of the players going to be thinking? "This is how the club treats the captain, a club legend?"

How can you take anything seriously coming out of the joint atm, if I was a player there's no way I'd be anywhere near WT unless I was getting massive overs.

if Taylor can do this to the captain, no one is safe
If Taylor can do this to the captain - at this time of the year - there is NO respect for him or the team or the fans
Everything Taylor has said and done this year has been Sh*t and failed miserably
How many years is Taylor contracted for ???????
can a team file for a non confidence vote against the coach and if so how do we do it ????
How do we stop Taylor from killing our careers and this club ???

well "this" has backfired spectacular 0 on the verge of wooden spoon.
That is not a rookie coach error.
that is ego and a lack of clear leadership on Taylors behalf.

They have to give Taylor a go now he's here,but, one of the reasons he got the job was bringing his Roosters knowledge/experience to the Tige's,anyone thats been around League would know we just don't have the roster to play that type of football,except for Robbie i doubt any of our Fwds would make the Roosters side and probaly only one of our Backs.We just don't have the players due to poor recruiting and weak management not calling Player's Managers bluff.

Its a mess,what a joke regards the Salary cap,anyway its up to Taylor to adjust and try and get some sort of plan in operation for next year or otherwise he's gone as well.

FT,I have communicated with you for quite awhile and I know how angry you are at the club at the moment,having said that,how about we give all and sundry at the club until the end of next season before we start belittling people that have put their hand up to try and make this club a much better place for fans and players…12 months isnt that long and if they dont start to show improvement in many of the problem areas ,then we can give it to them in uncertain terms if we wish..

As you and many others on here including myself know just what a rabble and basket case of a club the new board and Taylor were left with....it will take many strong decisions to sort out the mess,some we will not like but must be done if we are to be competative again....they do need the time and patients to achieve what has to be done...if not then lets shout from the highest rooftops how bad they are... :exclamation:

Just watched the interviews.

JTs was cringe worthy. Amateurish and he certainly did not look comfortable under the circumstances.

Robbie on the other hand spoke very well and honestly about the situation. My opinion go him has actually gone up a notch after watching him discuss the events at hand.

Hopefully the boys can rally for him this week.

They've given him a go And he's stuffed up big time, he has no idea how to get players playing his way and still win games. His so called structures are pie in the sky, and he's got no idea of how to handle the players that he's got, he's too busy trying to turn them into a poor mans Roosters, not a bad thing if it's possible.

But he's failed to recognise that it's it not possible with his roster , or even many others , he's not brought out any solid improvement in anyone, his defence coaching is probably the failure of the year, and he's almost demolished the confidence of the two halves with his on again off again , "yes you can run it, ". "no you can't " coaching.
And just how many players does anyone expect to be attracted to come here while Taylpr is in charge. Looks like we're back to the bargain table to pick up the crumbs again
How much damage is he going to be allowed to do to this club

So did I Geo,
but it seems that it's only thought of , when the Coach wants a distraction from his own performance. He's had all year to drop underperforming players but We had continuos bad performances from some throughout the year and did nothing.

Yeah mate i did but there is so many more i can name aswell that deserved to be dropped , but the level of disrespect being shown to one of our Club greats is apalling with the Ultimatum that he will be playing reserve grade if he stays .

Shheens lost the room, Potter lost the room , now Taylor has apparently lost the room. If that is all true it reeks of some backstabbing players over a period of time. Who knows if Farah was involved. Clearly the culture has been poor for years. Lets hope this current clean out works- God knows the long suffering fans deserve better.

Agree. A coach would not be happy with a captain plotting against him. Potter was too nice and was shown the door but not so with Taylor.

GC,3 finals appearances in 16 years,it appears we just keep wasting and now someone wants to do something about it,you want it done yesterday..we cant blame everything on the new board and coach as soon as things get tough…previous management have left this trainwreck,someone has to clean it up...

My thoughts on Taylor is not a personal one….....it's just simply that i believe he hasn't got what it takes to take this Club forward and be successful , i don't believe his Coaching is at NRL level.
We have gone backwards under this guy, our Club is low on Morale , fans got no idea what's going on , players not knowing if there Contracts will be honoured . This is not a way to run a Football Club and you will see it with our Memberships next year , i know of 20 Wests Tigers Members that will not be renewing next year some from this Forum that i speak to .

Our Club is weak to hold a media Conference in fear of the hard line questions they will be asked but yet Farah says it all after training this morning when he said " that he will be playing Reserve Grade if he hangs around next year " , does that fall under bullying and harrasement ?
No Contract get honoured anymore.
