I love how they go it was bad that it was leaked the club said farah would be dropped to reserve grade. It was farah that leaked it.

Thank You….and Precisely...How come no one in the media has picked up on that!....

Speculation mate, it was on the souths forum morning before it broke.

The point is the large majority of the **sympathy** toward Farah and **anger** to the club stems from the fact Farah was told if he stays he is going to play reserve grade and not train with the full time squad…It's a fact that Reddy told him this at their meeting last Tuesday evening ..and I know it was not stated as a threat to Robbie, _**more like a matter of fact if he chooses to stay**_._**The club made it clear to him that Cherrington is the preferred FG hooker for the next 2 years.**_..Now, **NO ONE** from the club told the media that conversation took place….**It was Farah who told the world what was said**....he made these points to the media in his interview the following morning after the announcement....Why didn't he keep the details of the conversation inhouse?..simple....because he can't keep his mouth shut and achieved what he set out...to get all the sympathy he can get....and its worked a treat for him!..If anyone saw the Footy show interview tonight....2 things stood out for me; 1) Farah is a stubborn mule 2) The first time in over 20 years Fatty said something that made logical sense.... Fatty almost pleaded to Farah to leave the club, his advice was the club has made its decision and it would be best for him to move on...Wow...Fatty must've taken his Fish Oil capsules today.

Who on earth would take advise from Paul Vautin, the blokes a professional fool.

In fairness gallagher, I am in support of Farah moving on. I think it's fair to say Farah means more to the Tigers than Vautin ever did for Manly.

I disagree. He would have been at Manly a similar sort of time. Premiership captain, aus vice captain at the time. He was loved by manly fans. Same as toovey

You would rather praise and lick Sony Bill Williams backside swapping codes whenever he pleases and show more respect. when he praises the heavens with his arms….. Then Farah a one man club player

He's had his moments over the years but in this case he spoke with honesty, openness and as someone that wasn't going to fawn all over him saying how badly he's been treated (like the others on the panel) but rather as someone who has been there and done that. It was sound advice.

The quote at the top of this post is not mine.

There has been a couple of pages of comments since the footy show segment.

All ive heard is a whole heap of hate and a whole heap of the same old opinions we have heard from each other for the last week now.

Anyone care to mention that Robbie wasnt allowed to talk because of legal reason. Have a very good think about that.

Its way more important than your opinion or agenda.

Legal reasons? At worse we gotta pay him out. Or do you still think it will cause Taylors contract to be torn up and sanctions against the club?

Again, it was Farah's decision to take legal action against the club…for the life of me I dont comprehend what he is alleging....defamation of character..?

At times I wonder if people actually believe some of the things that they write here

So you know that he's taken legal, action do you?

well someone has taken legal action against someone otherwise there wouldn't have been any "legal boundaries"

reckon it's the RLPA thing- it will be swept under the rug- both parties will make a compromise and it will all be over soon. no one is winning with this dragging on.

I wonder whether the board was in on the decision of JT to tell Robbie if he didn't move on next year he will be in Reggie's. This seems to be the major bone of contention, if JT has gone out on a limb and said that off his own bat he's position is almost untenable.
I'm also wondering if this is the basis of the speculated legal action from Robbie.
IMO if that statement had not been made this sh*t storm isn't anywhere near as bad, players ask and get told to explore their options all the time without all this fiasco.

When Robbie made these comment last week, my first reaction was the club should terminate his contract for breaching confidentiality. Knowing this was the start of the Ayoub Media Train and the club would have its pants pulled down if they don't attack him head on, they really chose the wrong option.

OMG what a hypocritical and ironic statement….you along with Goldcoast both seem to have been going non stop banging on about this for a week...same old opinions over and over and over, ignoring facts that dont suit you....he brought it on himself the fact he could say nothing, much like he brought all the Tallis crap on himself last year. Its his own choice...not allowed my arse

The thing is its all heresay, and if it was said it was said in confidence behind closed doors

William Hoppoate is taking Parra to court over the terms of his contract, why don't they get him on the footy show next? Maybe he's just not interested in looking for sympathy. I really thought we had gotten past this kind of stuff after last yr and thought for a while it was the start of a new era. But I was wrong. Idk how anyone who supports Farah supports him insuring this remains a circus which makes our club look even worse than it did before this started. If he loved it like he said he did, he'd act with discretion like Hoppa.

:unamused:

So much hate.

The story out of the footy show and the most important thing we have seen all week is that he didnt talk. It was talked up as his time to talk but for what ever reason he didnt.

Everyone, including you missed that and went on hating either him or Taylor or the club.

Try some St Johns Wort, perhaps some chamomile tea…

Anyone with any intelligence at all, gets legal advice , especially when a contract of this amount of money is concerned. And usually would be advised of what he can say and what he can't, so as not to jeopardise himself in the event of any attempt by the club to try and weasel out of him being paid what he is entitled to. Nothing new.
And ink you've done as much banging on here about the other side of the argument, ignoring facts that don't don't suit you .
and your mate Gallagher has made an art form over it.
This wasn't started by Farah. He wasn't going any where.
And as he said last night. If he moves on it will be on his terms. Which is his right

I know hey, but quite happy to accuse others of it.
