"ROBBIE Farah’s contract saga with Wests Tigers has taken another bizarre development with the battling club now deciding to deny the NSW Origin hooker a release.

Farah’s management emailed the Tigers on Friday night requesting an immediate release from the joint venture club

With six clubs lined-up to sign Farah, the Tigers have attempted to block Farah’s departure at the 11th hour after a last-minute backflip from the struggling club."

Hehe, gotta love the media in this country. One minute no one wants to sign him due to his attitude, whatever….now there are 6 clubs lining up for his signature.

Farah's management are grubs….Taylor, the board and Farah's management have ripped the heart out of this club....cant wait to see Ivan Cleary in this role come April. What the hell we going to do with $300k....top up Brooks and Moses to get belted even more or buy Brenton Lawrence to sit on the side lines.....this club is a joke.

I can see where you are coming from. If players have not learnt to tackle well and do it often they should not be out on the field. It has become a virtual patch up team except for Woods and Teddy. Maybe I have missed some other active ones. I did not want to see Farah leave but they forced his hand.

It's purely negotiation now. Obviously ayoub will start at the top (asking for full contract). If Farah wants to go it will get sorted.

He can get his full contract just not the whole value from us….paying $600k is still too high per season for 2 years. Maybe 60/40 is better - 60 being the team he is going to unless we get 1 or 2 players in exchange. I will repeat Ayoub is a grub

Listening to Pascoe on Triple M doesn't exactly inspire much confidence. He said he'd asked Robbie to meet tomorrow morning to "find out why he's asked for a release"…..he can't be serious, surely
