Robbie Farah For Nsw Hooker Game 2 ??

He'll be there. The kick out on the full towards the end was understandable given the situation. Otherwise he was very good and racked up 40 tackles. Made 3 times the amount of metres in attack than Smith too.

Outplayed Smith by a considerable margin, more hit ups, runs, breaks and close to the same about of tackles. More importantly, Farah has made Ennis's contribution in previous years look decidedly average.

u srs? smith single handedly changed the momentum of the game in the first half.
THEN he did it again at the start of the first half.
THOSE two kicks was what brought queensland back in the game (apart from the stupid decision to kick for goal)
gould defined it as an "origin play" idk about that, but thats what great players do. no need for freakish plays, just do the right stuff at the right time. that's what we at tigers are missing in ellis.

Going for goal such a dumb move, especially that far out. Ricky didn't look too happy with the decision either.

I'd be dropping Creagh and Buhrer after that one, everyone else deserves another shot. Can't and shouldn't make too many changes anyway.

Smith outplayed Farah tonight but Robbie was very close to him. Some of Camerons individual plays were perfect.

What game were you watching Stryker. Farah just outplayed Smith.

Woods for Creagh and Hinchcliffe for Buhrer IMO.

Yep that would do it. Jennings is lucky he did actually provide some spark and speed in attack after getting himself sent to the bin, otherwise I would have liked to see him go as well.

If I were a Blues supporter, I'd be fuming at Jennings stupidity. He ran tens of metres just to launch into the melee and throw one at someone who wasn't involved in the original stink.

no he didnt. they both played a very similar game, smith nailed the kicking. however, both controlled the ruck extremely well.

Robbie had him in the first 30 minutes but then Smith slowly worked his way back in front for mine.

That was pretty dumb. It was a wild old punch to boot! Lucky it didnt hit one of his own players.

on a different note, i loved queensland's attitude of brining yow yeh, does anyone know if nsw did the same with gidley? yow yeh presence was not gonna make any difference to how queensland prepared but they know how to look after their players.

He was the dominant player until Jennings got sin-binned. And when he went off in the 2nd half, the game changed again. Would have loved for him to be there when attacking the line instead if Buhrer.
He is definately there for game 2.

Agreed. I for one was glad he wasnt on during this stage. He most probably would have got the Blues over the line.

Robbie was outstanding. Carney was well below average. For me the turning points were the missed kick for touch ad the decision to take the shot at goal 40 out. In all honesty NSW were the better team.

Agree, nerves got the better of Carney I think. I'd still pick him for game 2, he's too talented to write off after 1 poor game.

Got to stick with the spine for the whole series. If it doesnt work out then reorganise for next year. The spine was pretty ordinary…I think they will play a lot better in game 2.

Agreed, surely Carney will improve in game 2\. Robbie played well and looked to be comfortable with his role, he kept the attack going and did plenty in defence. It would have been good for him had that 40 20 kick come off it would have given NSW a good attacking opportunity when needed, at least he tried something for the team.

Yeah absolutely Robbie should be there. No question.

Only changes needed are drop Buhrer, Creagh & Merrin then bring in Woods, Watmough and either Hinchcliffe or another prop.
