Into a waiting subaru ? Hahahahaha ahhh Jerry, and i here i thought we'd turned a corner. Your funny though, I'll give you that.

A piece of advice also, i wouldn't be so quick to criticise the Robbie Farah fans when you obviously seem to blow your load everytime someone mentions Grant Mayer's name. Hypocrisy at it's finest really..

Why are you so offended by the word Subaru?Up until this year I was a 100%farah fan that nearly all of us on here acknowleged happened but for a "select few" who are blinded by rose colored sunglasses.Grant Mayer is the one truly responsible for putting a much needed broom thru the joint(and ridding it of a weak white ant environment). As a Wests Tigers fan I love Grant for doing this.Id Love to know What exactly is your problem with Grant Mayer. For me whether it was Grant Mayer or Abu Bakr Bashir brooming the joint of all the crap I would be thankful. You seemingly not.I am loving Mayers ACTIONS in dealing with the CRAP that was dished up by Robbie and others this past year(and previous years). You seem to be able to "blame the arsonist not the fireman"except when his name is Robbie Farah.Why.Hmmm.Why cant we just move forward and enjoy the great work of Mayer,Taylor and co.For me its not the Farah lovers I have issue with more than those who love Farah but hate Mayer(select few) despite the great work he is doing. How would you rate Farah's work this last year Tony.Fireman and arsonist pal,Fireman and arsonist.

Tony, you have to understand Jerry and his obsession with bashing Robbie one minute , then sucking up by giving him some veiled praise then goes back to bashing him in his next post. Jerry is so into slogans ( fireman and arsonists, white ants etc )that he can't write straight facts.
He doesn't like to answer any questions that need a straight yes or no answer about Farah or Jerry's best friend Mayer .
Now he's crediting Mayer with anything that comes even close to being good news . Jerry can't (or won't) see that it was the Nrl (not Mayer) who demanded a place on the board , and then went ahead with the restructure, that is responsible for everything that has happened here until Taylor arrived.
Mayer would have had some input into the new coach, but it was a combined subcommittee who made the final choice not just Mayer.
He signed a couple of second tier players with out waiting to see whether the new coach wanted them. Only to have Taylor get rid of one of them. The dismissal of coaching staff that has just taken place was Taylor's responsibility (once again, NOT Mayers)
So most of the stuff that has happened has nothing to do with Mayer. Jerry is too busy waving the pom poms for Grant, to see reality.
As I said , he will not answer any questions with a yes or no .
Perhaps if you ask him one that he is desperate to avoid, he might answer , ask him if he thinks Grant did a good job of resigning Tedesco this year( yes, the same player who only changed his mind and stayed, after Farah and Peyton intervened. Jerry has dodged this one for quite a while. Hardly Mayers shining moment, but no matter …...he's just our best player( when on the field). No biggie !!!

Seriously, Jerry, can we give the fireman/arsonist analogy a breather?
You throw it in regardless in ANY thread regarding Farah along with an unnecessary reminder to us of your love for Grant Meyer.
Could you please just start a **Grant Meyer Fireman/Robbie Farah Arsonist thread** and leave it there?
Back on track we need Farah at his best to have any chance of going anywhere on the field next year.

I agree to stop that comment providing people stop blaming Mayer(and I wont blame farah)for last years crap.I do agree we need Robbie at our best and he needs our forgiving.I know I like others have been hard on him really just cause I want to see him(and this club) do well. This club has screamed out for a cleaning out of the old boys club and that is exactly what Mayer is doing.Robbie Farah admitted to counselling during the tough times this year and for that I give him a pass for things he did that HE SAID he would do differently if he had his time again.I did say on a much earlier thread that Robbie had a headspace issue at the time and I totally respected that cause nearly all of us are there at certain times in life.We all have pressures in life but when you are a star footballer it would be very hard cause the cameras are forever in your face and when you do something wrong it gets magnified 1000 times more so it would be very easy to become stressed and to do rash things like robbie did. What angered me wasnt so much the love for Robbie(no I dont hate him I very much loved him up until this)it was those supporting Robbie seemed to be the same ones blaming Mayer for his handling of it.Ok maybe on this issue Mayer didnt handle it perfectly but it was far from the perfect situation and one in which he didnt start hence the Fireman/arsonist tag. When Robbie has his usual great games in 2015 you will see me saying great game Robbie on these forums(and also saying it to peoples faces in real life). No one in life is perfect not Robbie not me or anyone else posting on here and the truth is a lot of our players could learn a thing or two with how Robbie conducts himself on the field re passion and effort just like Robbie can(and has)learnt a thing or two off the field from other players.IM not here to win a personality contest or be some politically correct dufus who does so cause he is too chicken s*** to ask the hard questions.I truly just want whats best for the Wests Tigers. :sign: :sign:

The amount of crap Robbie has copped has been shameful…..the bloke is a human being, and a passionate one at that.....

On behalf of me and only myself I would like to thank Robbie for his amazing loyalty, passion and love for the tigers which i also share.

i cant wait to watch him carve up...like he has been doing for us for the last ten years.

This comment is true and I do agree with it.Its one of the not so great things that being famous has attached to it we all hop on these forums and dish out on them.Robbie has done his time and now deserves our support. :sign: :sign:

That's where we differ, Jerry.
There's plenty who believe he **ALWAYS** deserved our support.

Without trying to put a stain on the current positivity floating around the club with the great work of Mayer,Moss,Taylor and co lets agree to disagree and move on shall we. :sign: :sign:

Well said simontiger. I couldn't have phrased it better. Awsome player and even more importantly a good man of field too. Love him!

It's all his own doing and his behaviour as our captain this year was a disgrace to our club, our coach and to the man himself. I have no respect for him as a person now, I will never forgive him for what he did, and for me ….I wish he would take up an offer from overseas and never ever play on Australian soil ever again. From my favourite player to this in one year....

Thank god that the people that matter in the club have more insight as to who is good for the club than you do .
By the way , what outstanding attributes do you bring to the club, or are you just another Wacko , who believes he knows everything that has gone on here , even though you have probably not a clue in the world . I bet Farah's in a real turmoil knowing you have no respect for him. lol. :crazy

LOL.
He got under your skin didnt he?

Not really. Just another Farah hater who takes a few pieces of info and turns it into a full over the top rant , and like most of us here has no idea what's true or not, but is still prepared to badmouth someone. who has at times carried some of our teams almost on his own. .

Believe him like 'Russell' or doubt him like 'Geo'? Either way, his interests are best served by staying out of the media and distancing himself from the whole thing by his own silence. "…… doth protest too much methinks."

If he avoids speaking to the media - they will go after him - hammered him after not speaking at the press conference. Better off just going through the motions say the generic things and hope he becomes old news, and find someone else to write about.

The phrase "getting up off the canvas" looses it's meaning when the boxer in question uppercutted himself.

Fans want him to stay out of the media

Yet they crucify him for ducking press during the year

Go figure.

I look at it this way . I have said it before.

Robbie supposedly had issues with Benji
Robbie supposedly had issues with Sheens
Robbie supposedly had issues with Potter.
Robbie had issues with Mayer.

Where there's smoke there's fire. I think Robbie is a great player, but would like to see the captaincy go elsewhere at least until Robbie has shown he is ready to lead the team. He looked crap from the time of the Tallis incident.

On the Tallis incident. If the 'private' conversation never took place, there is no issue. Keep your probs in house.

I can't understand people who bag Farah and say he is a sook, having a cry. I'd love to see any forum members make 50 tackles a week on professional massive units, then cop sh*t in the press, and see how they go.

The irony is that sooo many forum members fire up at each other, even when they are next to anonymous. In other words, they get upset about what nobodies write on a forum most people in the world don't read or even know exists. And these same people think it is shameful for someone to be upset or thrown off when negative things are leaked/written about them in public.
