Rumor has it Tedesco wanted out and did not want to play under mick potter.

When he confirmed the move to Canberra Robbie ask teddy to stay and guaranteed him that mick would not be coach this year.

Well looky what we have now.

Teddy actually liked Potter , many of the younger kids did

I dont know about year 2 but I know Teddy wasnt impressee with Potter in year 1\. He was particularly frustrated that all a former champion fullback could teach him was to "run hard and run straight".

Happy knows what he's talking about on this one. I' ll back him 100% on this.

He didn't leave. He agreed to leave but he never left.
Robbie has made it very clear that Management made Tedesco feel that he wasn't wanted. Grant Mayer not Mick Potter was responsible for that.

Tigsta- don't be so gullible - poor management almost allowed jimmy to leave as has been well documented on the forum by a few who are in the know…

Was never about the $$$ or all the other shit that has been noted fact is he never wanted to leave

Thanks Willow

If they didn't believe me 9 months ago , they sure as hell won't believe me now

I think most believe you Happy.

But people have many sources. My mail was the young guys, including Teddy, werent not fans of Potter early on.

My understanding is that this changed in Year 2.

My source on the "run hard, run straight"
Is very reliable and for that reason I cant doubt it even though I also place a lot of stock in what you have to say.

My comment wasn't based on Year 1 ST It was based on contract time

And your comment was exactly right

I could even tell you when he made it

Well, even if you hate Robbie,

He kept Teddy here!!!

Do we all think Teddy will be keen to re sign next time around?

Our poor performances might start to become a factor

Potter was suited for the Tigers moving forward …he had the knack to do something with the youth and guess what the Tigers are a youthful team. But Mr wonderful could not help himself and had to derail the season for everybody and eventually ruin the career of a good man.
I will argue with anyone but Moses and Brooks were coming along nicely under Potter but self interest destroyed it all and it is still going on today.

Brroks under Potter in 2014 was playing really good football at times.

Seems to have gone backwards under Taylor which is strange considering Taylor has a decent half himself.

Anybody else ever get worried that when Tedesco's contract runs out he will want to leave to go to a team that is more likely to win a Premiership. One where he doesn't get let down by teammates as much?

Anyone who hasn't figured out by now that this is a likely scenario isn't too bright.

If I were Teddy I would be thinking where is my best chance of playing Origins, playing finals and winning Premiership.

He is a superstar player, he would be thinking long and hard about re signing again i reckon.

Why was this post resurrected -what relevance does it have to whats happening with the club at present. .

diedpretty,

WHen is Teddy off contract again?

End of next season?

Going to be a big discussion point.
