If he's been asked, he isn't going to say no. He's obviously going to speak about Farah in a positive light.

Just like the players are hardly going to come out and bag the coach hey??!!

Or does it only work one way for you?

Elijah Taylor went on to praise Farah in depth. But he obviously didnt mean it!

Taylor has been here for a cup of coffee. I wouldn't expect him to have any issues with Farah.

Of course….

But finish the sentence mate please!!

"the rest of them have been around long enough to hate him"

Including others like Woods, Teddy and co who have said similar things.

Haven't seen Woods or Ted mention him since this erupted last week. When asked in the press conference after the game, Woods was real quick to bring the conversation back to the 17 players who had just played. The only thing i've heard regarding Tedesco was a report of him advising Farah to move on.

Everybody seems to love Elijah Taylor, here it is straight from the horses mouth….
**“Robbie is great for the team.** I’ve come in with a fresh set of eyes and he’s got leadership qualities, he’s an Origin player and he’s got experience, he knows the game inside out.
Elijah Taylor says he knows what Farah is going through.
**“He’s a great bloke as well.** It’s the coach’s decision and I can’t control that. I’m a player and I focus on my game to make sure I make the 17 each week.
“I think he will play first grade again, definitely. He works hard on his game, his experience comes to my mind.
“He’s the kind of player, **when I’m warming up next to him before a game, he gives me confidence** because I know how much experience he has.
“I think he will definitely be playing first grade again this season. He’s a club great.
**“We’ve got some big games coming up, big games we must win. The experience that he has in controlling football games and controlling the tempo, especially in that position, he’s a master.’’**

Tedesco has to go now doesn't he. Who does he think he is getting involved in these decisions. I wonder if Tedesco is behind all this drama.

Also had the support of Jesse Sue and Ava - in the same interview. Jesse credited him for helping him develop his game and Ava said he was a mate
In fact the only bagging of Farah as a person seems to come from the people who don't know him but think they do.
Please enlighten me if you know him personally.

And crickets as they say

And you claim you want Farah gone as well

Mate get over your fixation with me, I do want Farah gone, but the coach should be the first one gone, are you not getting this. :crazy

This is really the quote that carries the most substance. Everything else is a team mate providing positive support to another team mate.

He also said that Farah has played well when he played with him and thatFarah had produced plenty of early ball to the halves. Does that carry any substance got you.

Elijah Taylor on signing with us came out with Praise for the Coach..that was fobbed off as him just saying that….At the same time he didn't bag out his previous Coach for him not being in his plans moving forward...

Elijah is a genuine class act would expect nothing less from him in supporting a fellow teammate.....

He didn't have to go to the lengths that he did to support Farah . I've never seen a player go to those lengths before, especially when some of his comments were opposite to the company line.

No probs, but we aren't supposed anything that he writes according to a few here

Actually Gus's column ( SMH) points out that it is not Farahs fault that his contract is costing the club more than they are happy with, and they should pay him out and cop it. He's right about the fault especially.
It's WTs ,

GCT, I promise Im not chasing you personally, as this is a second post in a row, just a coincidence…

While true it isnt Robbies fault in the current situation regarding the salary cap aspect, he is undeniably the catalyst behind the media frenzy.

The Panthers alone in recent memory have moved on Lewis, Jennings, Grant, Soward and Segeyaro mid contract, and allowed Elijah Taylor to languish in reserve grade because the coach decided he didnt fit into their plans... the sayings go "talk is cheap"and "äctions speak louder than words". If you regard Gould in any way as a smart operator, think about the times he has green lit the exact scenario we are currently finding ourselves with Farah, players of rep standard and all.

Nope - that's just a team mate supporting a team mate. He is telling Farah he can play that role and the team wants him to play that role. Nothing wrong with that.

Taylor seems to be aware of what the coach has told Farah what he needs to do. I think that is critical.

Jeez some of these blokes need media training. That is a decision for the coach and I am just here to play football and fulfil the role I am given under the coaches gameplan.
