FAKE NEWS !

I definitely heard it announced whilst Robbie was parading around LO for his farewell.

Think you were hearing voices mate…......

I can't recall the ground announcer saying anything along those lines at LO round 26 last year.

A lone voice from the scoreboard perhaps.

 Or Ayoub shouting into a megaphone from the dungeon toilets.

It had to be a lone voice because the team were in the middle of the biggest hiding of their lives in the make or break match - not that JT made any difference during that break.

I really don't think Farah should be anywhere near the joint for the next few years. Time heals most things, and time (and lots of it) is needed here.
Way down the track …. who knows? Maybe.

Good luck. He's persona non grata at this club.

So you say . Plenty realise he is Tigers to the end .
Forced out of the club he loves.

I'm tired of hearing the word forced.
It's a professional sport. Players come and go and that's the nature of it.
Spare me the heart felt rubbish.

Never a truer word was said on this forum.

Unfortunately, some here fell for the line run by RF and SA.

On the topic, the only way RF comes back to this club is if every single person in the current administration leaves. Even that probably wouldnt be enough. You don't do what he did and get a call back.

I'd say Robbie will have "other engagements" when they have GF reunions , he really hasn't left himself much room to move in my opinion

Seeing Farah had a contract and always was industrious in play JT could have tried alternative position for Farah as Souths have successfully done at first NRL outing. In my eyes Farah performed excellently there. Apparently Cooke is a sprint champion so very fast out of the barrier at DH.

The boys were all very friendly to him after the game as is most previous players, except Beau Ryan who blames Robbie I think for his transfer from WT due to cap issues.

Of course he will be invited - JT has already moved on.

there may be something in black and white saying that Robbie can come back at a certain interval after his playing day are over or a handshake agreement. What happened to Farah has alerted other players of the reality of NRL footie, for example Tedesco's last mouthful to the press, so he has not put other players off.

Farah moonlighting at halfback didn't work for us when he was younger, faster and motivated.

If that's the plan for Farah at Souffs, the fans in the burrow will be howling for his head within weeks.
Many in the Burrow are already calling for Madge's head.

I'm calling it - either Madge resigns by the seasons end, or Farah will be playing for Norths.

I can't see Farah seeing out the two years. It just has that smell that it will end in tears.

To actually get a job in the football operations you need good people skills and I am not sure that is a area where Robbie excels. Could see him being a pretty good coach in the angry Ricky Stuart style. Anyway the bottom line if he is the best qualified for a position you would mad not to employ him

Agree 100%, that is why I don't like to see him just cast aside. In many aspects of life there are so many non-goers that let the team down so you always make room for the goers.

Cast aside? He is earning basically a million dollars for this season- he ain't living under a bridge.
If goers are just pulling in their own direction and not the team direction you must get rid of them. Just like will happen to Jarryd The Magnificent on the Gold Coast. (On 2nd thoughts, he is far from a goer.)

After today's article about his ankle twisting and his response why would we take him back?
His attitude completely stinks and I wouldn't want him near anybody as a role model.

Can't we just cut ties and say thanks for your service but we've moved on.

I have attacked these tactics months ago with other players but some fans seem to think it is part of the game. Accordingly not many have come out of the woodwork in spite of being Robbie.
