Robbie Hammers JT

@TieDye I didn't slag off his mother. I just said I'm tired of hearing about how it's affecting Robbie 7 years after the event.
Will we get a Robbie, 25 years on TV special?
I'm hoping Robbie's dad can hold in for the rest of the season. If he passes we will be really in for it.

@GNR4LIFE I see, and believe, most people see you comparing his personality to Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon? Also, if given the opportunity for the way shape he left it us in would definitely be receiving a classy spray from me in real life. Hardly think anybody was taking me seriously about applying the 9 to his forehead, but most certainly could... see the difference is Farah is playing his 300th after years of service to the club and one/two people feel the need to continue on berrating him over JT, when his response - given the question asked was totally factual and appropriate. I didn’t see any “token reminder of Sonja” comment, as somebody put it.

Way over the line mate. You can have your opinion like the rest of us and are clearly one who makes a respectful point that others can take on board... however I don’t think it’s possible that anybody is Preferential to Taylor when it comes to R.F. We all knew it was coming, we all know the season’s Over just crack the popcorn out next time Gunner 🍿

I thought it was a funny play on words that fit my world view. Didn't intend to hijack the thread with it. But the fact remains, Farah is the most divisive figure in this club's history and its because of rubbish like this, stoking a fire that was put out 2 years ago. And before anyone says he was asked the question, big deal. Its a journo's job to pick and prod to get a bite. Not saying he knew the question was coming, but he surely anticipated the question would be asked. So in a way his response was premeditated. He still hasn't gotten over it, and probably never will. Neither have a lot of supporters.

Good luck to Robbie on his 300th.

Reporters asked the question he provided the answer.

It would have hurt him to be let go, especially by Taylor. May not be an appropriate comparison but I know men and woman who hate on their x’s years after splitting up - I dare say that RF had a similar emotional investment in his career at tigers as many had in their marriages.

Hate on Robbie, if it fires you and the team up for the weekend then hate on.

@TYGA Best part of the article, hopefully it's true. I have a feeling once Liddle has the ability to play 80 mins and gets some solid time in the role, our teams fortunes will really start to turn.

Taylor' threatened RF with NSW Cup if he didn't find another club. RF didn't and ended up playing SOO. The threat by JT and subsequent response by RF highlights the natures of both individuals. JT quite willing to carry out action which many consider to be underhanded, RF responding in the only way he knows with stubborn determination. While not everyone agrees with all of RF's actions, I pretty certain history will be kinder to him than JT,

Thank you for illustrating my final sentence. What you are saying has been said over and over, and the whole saga ended 2 years ago when Taylor was sacked. The fact that this thread has generated such emotion shows that what happened is still stuck in people’s crawl.

Actually this is the post of the week. Thats the best description of the whole damn mess.

The expression is "stuck in the craw" like stuck in the throat (in case that wasn't a typo...)

He could have answered with a more mature response.
"That's the past and we've moved on as a club"
But no. Just to make some headlines about himself he has to inflame the situation when nobody seems to care.
Robbie is bitter until the end. Sad really.
I'm pretty sure JT doesn't give Robbie a second thought.

Inflame the situation?
He answered a question honestly.
Sad that some on here can't show even a little respect for someone who loves the club and is our most capped player... but would rather stick up for a thing like Jason Taylor.

Since when does the amount of games you play automatically entitle you to respect? Look at Cameron Smith. 400 games and arguably the most hated player in the game.

Funny, you seem to respect everything that Jason Taylor did.
You obsessively jump onto anything that barely mentions him to defend him.
Fact is he did nothing for this club .... nothing.

Funny, I haven’t defended JT anywhere in this thread. Why bother for something that was put to bed 2 years ago. Plus, I doubt he cares what’s said about him, why should I? I’ve also never said I respected everything he did. Seems like you’re just reading what you want to read.

I can say the same thing though. The supporters he traumatised don’t mind jumping onto it the moment his name is mentioned. Just to show how not over it they are.

@GNR4LIFE also, wanted to clarify that I’m definitely not taking sides... I just know that I’m on the side of Wests Tigers and Robbie wouldn’t begrudge us blaming him when he has a shocker ! JT I think he’s got a bit of a glass chin in the metaphorical sense and do actually believe he cares what the ‘people’ say about him. He may be part of the furniture at the Roosters, but over here he is public enemy #1, and we knew that before this thread kicked off... I really want FAZ to put his $ where his mouth is this week

Via the mole, quoting Rod Reddy tweet.

But former St George and Test legend Reddy has now fired back, posting on social media:

“Well we were right he went to Souths and played reserve grade and that Wests Tigers team at the moment is a reserve grade team with 4/5 nrl players in it and Farah is not 1 of them.

“Most selfish player I have ever been involved with while either playing the game or coaching bar none.”
