Robbie has to play

Have a strange feeling we'll knock them over. Not because of the last two weeks giving me false hope or anything. This is one of those games where we're expected to lose and I think we'll give them a really good shake.

Its set up for it. LO, Sunday afternoon. No doubt the commentators will be riding us home. The script is there for us to win. I think we can give a decent crack. Especially if JT is out again.

If Thurston plays this very tough. We are not in this class and as Canterbury found out a few weeks ago after they thought they had a few good wins against lousy opposition the step up is a shock.
Now that Brooks is out our only hope is if Farah somehow can play. That's what we need to have him there with a wave of emotion,if he plays blinders riding on that and the team lifts,we need an edge like that.
Otherwise if it's Rankin at dummy half Lovett out wide and especially if Thurston plays we got little chance.

We might also get a better idea on Mitchell's development this week against Morgan and Thurston.

I also think we'll give them a real run. Leichhardt will be pumping, JT will be rushed back and probably not 100% fit, Moses will be wanting to show himself against the king and so on.
I think we'll need another half in there to score enough points, so I'd defo have JLJ in for Brooks in a straight swap. The rest of the squad will pick itself, though I'd love to see Cherrington in that fourth bench spot rather than continue the nonsense of Rankin and whoever else at dummy half. I doubt we'll see it though.

Robbie should be playing but he isn't.

Agree. But it's not going to happen.
If the scores were pretty even after the 30 mins mark and we had Robbie coming off the bench at LO instead of a genuine reserve grader….we would have a good chance against the Cowboys .

If Robert doesn't play, someone needs to teach Halatau how to run from dummy-half. Not once have I seen him walk straight at the marker and try to milk a penalty. Not enough passes have hit Aaron Woods in the head, either.

I have the exact opposite feeling. I think we will get a touch up.

I dont think it means a thing if Farah doesnt play and we win or lose, or if he plays and we win or lose.

One single week means zero. A change in culture is at hand, and that takes more than a week.

I don't usually write us off against anybody but for this, I'm not confident. If we show up and they underestimate us we can win this. But if they show up ready to play they could embarrass us, especially if Thurston plays.

Is it a change for the worse though. Is it just stating let's screw players if we overpay them.

My opinion is that as a club the culture should be to pick the best possible team. If the issue is overpaying players then we shouldn't do that in the future.

Correct, a move in the right direction for the long term. The players respect JT and can see he isnt afraid to make the tough hard calls…we are slowly all on the same page

You can't stop progress.

That is a popular saying but untrue.
Through history progress has been stopped redirected deflected to suit and its the same here.

Someone mentioned a change of culture. IMO JT has no right to do this, imagine if he does this then goes and in the meantime fans are deprived of te best possible team.
