You can't stop progress.

That is a popular saying but untrue.
Through history progress has been stopped redirected deflected to suit and its the same here.

Someone mentioned a change of culture. IMO JT has no right to do this, imagine if he does this then goes and in the meantime fans are deprived of te best possible team.

**80% of fans want Farah gone.**

Oh really?
Did you take a poll? :unamused:

No me. But someone on here did.
Was about 86% at one stage

Well , you're right - there was a poll.
A massive 135 WestsTigers 'fans' voted.
At last glance 44% wanted him gone (that's 60 people). 33% voted for both him and Taylor to shoot through.
Pretty sure the Tigers have a few more fans than the few on here who cast a vote.
Also pretty sure you wouldn't get anywhere near 80% if you could actually ask everybody - but, hey, let's not let that get in the way of a misleading statement.

No….lets rely on speculation instead.

This forum may be reflective of the WTs fan base as a whole albeit on a smaller scale, whos to say its not?
We have fans of all agaes here, from all areas

Clutching again?

A sample nonetheless. The census is next week, perhaps we lobby the government to include a question on Farah. That way we get the full population for a final answer.

Really don't think this forum represents women kids and teens effectively to be s fair indication of the thoughts of the supporter base. And there is no denying they are huge part of WT s fan base.

If Robert doesn't play, someone needs to teach Halatau how to run from dummy-half. Not once have I seen him walk straight at the marker and try to milk a penalty. Not enough passes have hit Aaron Woods in the head, either.

Nope but he does throw some passes at toe level and to the back-end of games struggles to make it to DH in a timely manner…that should please the likes of you.

Seems you are clutching at something yourself lately.
I simply replied to a misleading statement based on fact.
I then offered an opinion (I thought that was allowed) .
If you think 135 votes from hardheaded supporters on a forum can be marked as a true reflection of the views of hundreds of thousands of Tiger supporters good luck to you.
You obviously would have gone well with the guys the Liberal Party hired to do their polls before the last election.

Correct.

There'll always be a reason why we want Farah to play but there is also no denying that him playing halts progress.
On the other hand, that argument is completely moot because Halatau to hooker is no more progress than Robbie is.

Farah playing hooker dictates a style of play which is no longer necessarily the style our coach wants us to play. Therefore, despite the fact that Halatau might be less effective as a ball-runner/play-maker, he is obviously more compliant, adaptive and altogether less destructive for the team.

That argument aside, Robbie's form this season has been well below par so I don't think anyone can honestly say that Robbie playing gives us a greater chance of winning. I am a huge Farah fan but even I struggle to make an argument for him.

As matter of interest do you and gallagher and GNR4LIFE sit in the Tigers member section at games??

Im just curious?

For Gallagher to say 80% of Tigers fan want Farah gone due to a poll on an internet forum of 135 fans is one of the most laughable things i have ever heard of.

Show me evidence to refute it Eddie. Did you participate in the poll?

I sit at games right throughout the season in the middle of the Wests Tigers members. Are you at games? you seem to keep ducking that question? Just curious. Thats all the evidence i need that it is much closer to 50/50\. For you to say it 80% based on a internet poll of less then 150 fans is laughable.

Do your poll then.

Ok, I will this week at Leichardt.

See you there?

Hahaha….hilarious

Reminds me, I spotted that old fossil John Booth (one eyed tiger) from TWT yesterday in Ryde

I look forward to your poll eddie

My point Ink is I get a better feeling for what Tigers fans think of the Farah treatment by attending games rather then from a vote of 130 odd people on this forum. Some here were dismissive of a daily telegraph poll which was far closer to 50/50? (and that thousands more vote) but are headstrong on this poll containing less then 150 votes. Its laughable

Are you attending games this year?

I've found the general feeling to be about 50/50 re: Farah from attending games at all three venues this year. Very anecdotal, obviously.
Probably 80/20 against JT in general.

Shhhhhh The fans that don't attend games have far more accuracy on this.
