Robbie...is he a captain

So you need to be a grub to be a good leader?
Remember two winning captains named Pearce and Mortimer who wouldn't be considered grubs.
Fittler, Daley, Johns… check out the list of captains.

He used to be an attacking weapon….now all he does is tackle...anyone can do that

You need more from your 9

As for (C), hes not perfect, has been brilliant at times, very poor in others

Tommy - rest on your laurels, like that other has been Roach.

Of course you want Gallen back he is a Tommy stereotype.

The point was Robbie played the house down despite the injury. His captaincy was good as well.
IT IS UP TO THE PLAYER THAT IS KICKING THE FIELD GOAL TO GET INTO POSITION AND CALL FOR THE BALL. Didn't happen, so Dugan got the ball. But lets blame Robbie.

He kicked out on the full, he morphed into Tupou, Hopoate and Jennings in the backs and was pathetic. He also helped with Fifita's and Cordner's ineptitude. Maybe if those 5 players had a dig it may not have got to a one point scenario.

It is the playmakers fault the one point didn't happen - not the captain.

LOL….did Dugan call for it?
No.
Even then....it was a crap pass too.
That play was farahs fault...sugarcoat it all you like

Good ole Tommy. Always helpful and constructive. Maybe he can meet up with Angry Anderson and complain about why things aren't like 1979 any more…

One of my favourite years Yossarian… What i can remember of it.

Must of been some nice Pies baked in them Days

That's okay - I think Angry and Tommy struggle to remember it too.

Farah has consistently shown he makes very poor decisions under pressure….nothing will change..... He is spiralling downhill in his career it's time we blood his successor now rather than wait for his contract to end in 2 years

So QLD get away with lifting and dumping Robbie, no penalty given. Then they have the nerve to complain that there was no concusion test. Farah then plays on injured, makes 50+tackles in a pretty solid performance only to have his leadership questioned by dinosaurs in the NSW camp. Robbie's been hot and cold the last couple of years, but the things that have been said about Wednesday night are totally uncalled for.

What do you expect, to call a time out and get in a huddle to organise it?

I expect the half to demand the ball. Loitering around in the background expecting your hooker to be a mind reader is ridiculous. If he didn't get the ball the first time, he should have been screaming for it the second time.

Sort of agree… I was a 6 and every play was counted down & known when it was "my ball".

If not... Hell would come down!

Feel sorry for old Tom. The only time anyone cares about him these days is Origin time. It seems as though that's the only thing he's remembered for.

“We had a chance to win and blew it badly. I hope Gal comes back. The sets at the end were poor".

Tommy you're a fool - as if Gal would make any difference to the sets at the end. Knowing him he'd probably put himself in the way to take the pass off Farah and try and win the game all by himself with yet another hit up!

guys… please tell me the difference between a park player and and a semi pro player....the difference between a semi pro player and a first grader... the difference between a first grade player and an origin player...

but heres the deal, I will explain the difference between an Australian player and an Origin player... one side needs hand signals and people screaming for the ball (from what you guys explain), the other can sum up the situation and execute it with little fuss. No hands in the air, no screaming, just pro enough to get it done without the fuss. If you guys think I am the only person who see's this, check the national team.

The real top tier were on the other team, not ours. The gap punctuated by the score in the end, we had 2 bites at the cherry, Qld only one... who converted, who choked?

You can fight your point until you are blue in the face, though you wont only be kidding me, you will be kidding yourselves.

i don't know black and white - i think it was a quote within a quote and my eyes are lazy - didn't mean to hurt anyone - but hodkinson was in position for the field goal

Gould made a good point AHX the team shouldn't be run from dummy half, one of the halves should have called for the ball, for all we know Dugan called for the ball thinking he was set to kick the field goal and if he had then end of discussion.

im sure queensland didnt have the same problem -

it was logical

hence they are the champions

what colour is gould's hair this year just out of curiousity

all good AHX, been saying it all along…was just trying to figure if it was a retort to me. Using my own argument against me or something, in your own very differnt way which honestly has me lost more often than not.
