Robbie just not on the job

Here is some stats comparing ‘out of form’ Farah to the other top hookers in the game at the moment. (Stats are per game played this year.)
\
\
Errors: Hinchcliffe 0.0, Smith 0.3, Kingston 0.3, Buderus 0.8, Ennis 1.0, Farah 1.25
Tackles: Farah 39.2, Smith 38.5, Buderus 36.1, Ennis 35, Kingston 47.6, Hinchcliffe 24.8
Missed Tackles: Smith 0.8, Hinchcliffe 1.0, Farah 2.2, Ennis 2.5, Buderus 2.8, Kingston 3.1
Hit Ups: Farah 13.5, Smith 11.3, Hinchcliffe 7.6, Buderus 5.3, Kingston 4.5, Ennis 4.1
Metres Run: Smith 64, Farah 63.5, Hinchcliffe 51, Kingston 45.1, Buderus 40.8, Ennis 20.6
Kevin Kingston is the only one credited with a single line break.
Smith (0.8), Farah (1) and Kingston (0.8) are the only ones credited with offloads

Whilst stats aren't everything, they give a good comparison. Farah's numbers are where you would expect them to be as the second best hooker in the game. He gives Cameron Smith a genuine run for his money, makes Ennis look like an absolute total d*** (which he is), and proves in most cases there is a big gap between him and third best hooker.

How he has been described as out of form is beyond me, not forgetting these stats are skewed because Farah smashed his nose against Cronulla in round one and got half of his average for most numbers.

Now, each week being behind a beaten forward pack is he still out of form?

Too right brother, too right!

Look at Ennis' stats from every single year and you'll find they are not even close to Smith and Farah.

Stats don't mean everything but Ennis has never been anywhere near Smith and Farah's level.

Smith >> Farah >> Daylight. I would even have De Gois before Ennis.

Ennis is Darren Senter mk II. Except Senter rightfully never played Origin, nor was he ever considered in the top echelon of hookers in the game.

Ennis is a fraud, a myth, and the most overrated player in the game bar none.

This comes around every year and every year the stats are the same.
Farah beats Ennis in almost every stat.
I think it comes down to personality.
I reckon its a boys club and robbies not in the club.

I think you are right about personality. As much as it should be about on field performance, I think Stuart omits Farah because of a perceived issue about how he will fit in and bond with the squad.

Origin bonding has always been the stuff of legends.

Its his defense…..he does NOT dominate, he gets pushed back in defense, thus the line is retreating and the attack is on the front foot....he concedes quick PTBs when isolated.
Look at Nightingales try last night, Soward went the blind and all the commentators were going nuts over it, but the guy that played the ball left three defenders behind him....massive holes

Yes but Ennis doesn't dominate defensively either.

I agree that Farah doesn't dominate in defense but he does make ALOT of tackles, more than Ennis, and misses less than Ennis.

No hooker in the comp dominates in defense, and at least farah makes some tackles unlike ennis. I think Robbie needs to accept he has been blacklisted, he won't play for NSW again. They even picked Dean Young as the bench hooker instead of him once. I haven't seen the knights games as I couldn't care less about them so can't comment on buderus but I'd be shocked if he was better than farah.

I think farah is terrific, gives his all and is crucial to the team. I also think if he accepts that he wont play for NSW it may take some weight off his shoulders and bring back some flair to his game.

saw robbie brake his nose in round 1
Stayed on the field to lead his team to a win
The ruck rules are refereed diferently each week-cant buy a penalty when markers are all over the place
When our forwards bend the line and get quick ptb there is no-one better.

Gosh! I can't remember when Robbie has missed so much footy. 2 weeks suspension + now 1/2 a game concussed. Gees I hope thats it for 2012!!!!! 😛ray:

If you combine Bogan's post with Swordy's stats and that just about sums Robbie up for me, go Robbie keep battling on regardless.

Poor bastard cant take a trick this year…..all this crap he's copped on field and his poor mums illness on top.
Needs a lucky break poor bugger.

He really is an admirable (C) Stay tough Robbie
