Rod Reddy

Completely agree INK,JT seems to have a lot more than Potter ever did…

LAT,the elderly don't think things should stay the same as was when they were younger...
It's called experience and the young ones won't get it from thin air....

Doesn't matter where you get wisdom and knowledge from ,Young all old. Good move Taylor!

Ah! the younger generation, don't you just love them.

They think that the whole world and any other big place revolves around them.

O well, I have to go and change my incontinence pads after all the excitement.

We just hope you remembered to put them on Col

Tim Sheens is 4 years older than him

….but yeah anyone over 40 is useless, knows nothing

Fortunately blokes like you , Knuckles and I are eternally 39

Can't say the same for Watto ,Flip ,Geo, magpiecol and Cunno though  , they are with the dribblers

The good thing Happy is that I do my best dribbling after consuming a pack of Boags or Extra Dry or whatever is available so I actually don't mind dribbling not a bad singer then either :exclamation:

You can't judge a book by its cover - or its age. A good book will stand the test of time.

I can't help but think that this would be a strategized appointment by JT. His reputation as being one of the 'smartest' league brains around would also mean he thinks before he acts with his structures as well.

Let's face it, 'Rocket' has the cred' that the younger blokes could well appreciate. Let's hope so because they are going to need all the help they can get when the going gets tough next year…

Apparently the average coaching staff amongst nrl teams has risen from 9 to 23\. I hope this is not where our nrl grant is going. We have to spend our total cap on players to be competitive.

I posted the same thing a few weeks ago, it is a explanation why we seem to be culling players and not buying any.

We have come a long way from the Captain Coach days, but I also think you can go over board with the amount of people you have on the books that do not play. 17 un coached football will beat a team of 17 average footballers well coached every day of the week

What "cred" are you referring to? What "cred" does he bring that Roach and Sironen (both punted by Taylor) didn't bring?

I believe you are only 50% correct LCA

A Real shame about Siro but Roach has nothing to offer - not to us - not to anybody.

A wasted space.

Not saying we didn't need change in coaching staff. Just saying it better not be at the expense of filling our salary cap on players.

Credibility as a player mainly, which is what I was referring to. A couple of premierships under his belt is the main difference between Reddy and the Balmain duo. Obviously Taylor sees something in him that he didn't with the other two.

Gee aside from actually winning a premership…which a lot of amazing players havent done.....what more to gain credibilty could Siro and Roach have done as players??

Absolute legends for NSW and Australia!!

Unfortunately, I think Taylor wanted his own people in and Sirro got caught up in the dumpings.
