The chookpen lads think their pack is better than ours…. Not even kidding.... :roll

I mean we have nuffies like Galloway, Ellis, Blair, Heighington, and Woods..

They have world beaters like..... erm....

*Checks Roosters team list*

Aiden Guerra.... :crazy

They may have Frank Paul and JWH play off the bench to toughen the team up, but with no Anasta or SKD, we should win this comfortably.

NO competition points at stake relax and enjoy the trial.Anasta will play..

Firstly congratulations to Willow for the recent birth of his son. I ahve twins so know what it is like to have your hands full. They saw Wests Tigers win a very scappy game against Penrith last year at Campbelltown.

On paper we should beat the Rooster given the lack of experience in their side.

I hope we have a good hit out and no injuries.

I am a fan of Mitch Brown but know he has limitation. I hope Tedesco has a good game so he can commence as our full back in round one.

Some of you boys are taking this game a little too seriously methinks. Where in the hell is everyone getting the idea the Roosters are cocky? the only cockiness so far is coming from the comments in this thread, scoffing at a team thats below us for god knows what. You almost sound as cocky as Steeler fans in this thread. Its a trial fella's. Relax

And you know this how? this sounds very similar to the claims made that Hindmarsh can't stand the Tigers. Unless people provide quotes to where these things have been said, its hard to take claims like these seriously

The roosters have a young forward pack all wanting to impress for first grade selections although i do think the Tigers will win easy i don't think any of the roosters forwards will lie down, sometimes when a side is supposed to win easy it can sometimes unexplainably all go pear shape.

Great post except where you think the tigers will win easy.. :astonished:

I don't know why the Roosters bothered naming a team at all, as the team that ran out wasn't even close to the team they listed.

Definatley. Although you would have thought people would have learnt their lesson after the semi's last yr when people were discussing who was going down to Melbourne before we played the Warriors but obviously not

Did Moga play?
If so, anyone care to tell us how he went?

I wasn't at the game so cannot comment.
Other than to ask "are you checking re potential fantasy league options?"

He played. Didn't get too involved. Ran over the top of Benji in the second half and had one half decent run across field from a scrum win. Came off with a slight limp late in the game. I could hear the Roosters trainers in front of me saying they didn't want to risk him. He'll be a handful from the look of him.

Yeah i've chosen him in my side, and Willow's evaluation was just the tonic to ease my concerns (thankyou), if the coaches are concerned about risking him i think there's a good chance he will be utilised early on, of course they wouldn't want to risk a long term injury even if he wasn't in the mix for selection in the 17..but i'm optimistic.
Then again even if he wasn't in my team i'd still be interested in his performance, from what i can gather he will be exciting to watch.
