Roosters salary cap revelation

Who cares what the Roosters do or who they sign. They arent our competitors anyhow, they are above us.

id be more concerned if Souths or Bulldogs or Panthers signed Cronk and SBW

Why do we care..I wish a pox on them and their supprters..

I tried to put a pox on them but it only half worked and gave them the mumps… wish it was small pox.

I'd like to think it worked but Trent Robinson has to be the vector for the mumps, just look at his head!

I reckon Eboli would be good for that team and it's supporter.

The more they sign and the more they rort, the more I hate them, and others have said at the end of the day their trophy cabinet is much the same as us

I said that cause it's true a fact in fact

Latte sipping turd burgers..

Good thing about it is if they have a few key injuries they have sweet bugger all depth.

We saw how they hit the skids when JWH and Pearce were out for a large chunk of the year.

When the possible SBW signing was mentioned last night on the back page on fox, Ennis and Craddock just rolled their eyes and made some jokes about uncle Nick

…..

Part of their top 30 includes:
Bernard Lewis(0 games), Brandan Frei(0 games), Lachlan Lam(0 games), Mitchell Cornish(19 games), Paul Momirovski(0 games), Sean O’Sullivan(0 games), Brock Gray(0 games), Chris Smith(3 games), Eloni Vunakece(9 games), Grant Garvey(?), Joshua Curran(0 games), Nat Butcher(3 games), Poasa Faamausili(0 games), Reuben Porter(0 games), Sitili Tupouniua(0 games), Victor Radley(3 games).

My guess is that most of these are gun juniors cherry-picked from other junior leagues.
So , probably injuries may not hurt them as much as we would hope.

Yes they have over 10mill cap space, so well are their books handled.

Tedesco, Cronk, Crichton, Cordner, Friend, Keary = $4.8m.

JWH, Mitchell, Tupou, Aubusson, Ferguson, Taukeiaho, Napa = $2.15m.

13 players = $6.95m.

15 rookies = $1.7m.

28 players = $8.65m.

2 spots left and $750k.

Which I find Cleary's going for Depth so at odds with this.
It's clearly a totally different direction. Means No superstars but you have decent replacements for injuries.
Each of our players I am guessing is around the 150k-250k mark, with Reynolds on 750k.

While Easts go for 6 players on 5 million. 7 more on 2 mil and the rest as cheapness.

So tell me, who is the Rugby league nursury that is meant to have a bunch of Cheap juniors and who is meant to struggle to get talent?

Well lets see how the Cleary Depth goes this year. I have been surprised at who steps up and who stepped down, so to an extent it is working.

Be great if Reynolds was the only player on my than 250g, but we have a quite a few who are on bigger money. Players such as Lawrence,Brooks,Matilino,Packer,McQueen are a few that come to mind. In saying that you are right, we have spread our cap probably more even than most clubs, although I think most people would be horrified at what some players are getting..its all about demand and supply and being a battling club certainly doesn't help
