Round 2 we had high scoring win over the bulldogs in 2005\. So a high scoring win over the titans next week could be on the cards.

Yes indeed it could be, hehehehe :sunglasses:

incorrect , we only beat the Bulldogs buy a Benji field goal at the death , we got out to a big lead but then they reeled us in , we did flog them I think it was around Round 20 or close to it as I was at the game and was a tryathon

It was still a high scoring game?

Scott prince field goal

I was there…...while some of you were sitting in sh--ty nappies

Yes you are correct , Benji was the one that ran over to Prince and planted one on his chin , that's right .

So that means we will beat Souths this week lol!!!! cause Round 3 I watched us beat the Roosters at the SFS , in a great game of Footy

Correction, you watched the Wets Tigers beat the Roosters at SFS in round 4 mate, who knows if we will beat the bunnies

Could we PLEASE for the sake of many stop talking about 2005

This club has bled the 2005 premiership for all its worth and more , and until we move forward we will never win another premiership

I am not sure a few fans reminiscing is damaging our future chances…

The problem is the club hasn't really moved forward since then

We kept players too long because of 2005

We kept the coach too long because of 2005

We thought we could continue recruiting the same way because of 2005

Problem was in 2006 the game changed incredibly We didn't

It took us 9 years to put the changes in place that would help moves us forward and created so much havoc and upheaval in the meantime

All I'm trying to say is 2005 is ancient history , lets leave it there

Some of you guys actually got to see the GF live while me and Milky we're to busy watching Ninja Turtles….
P.s My favourite was Raphael

All I remember was the Roosters was the week after the Bulldogs game.

Come on Happy, let us keep enjoying those good times.

The last quarter of the 2005 season was a fantastic ride. Even losing those last couple of normal season games, followed by … Wham, those play-off games.

Wow, those games even topped Balmain's 1988 charge to the GF with Ellery Hanley on fire.

Ah the memories.
My fingers are crossed that our commitment in defence continues against the Wabbits.

Yeah our big win against the dogs definitely came towards the end of 05, when we were flying home.

Parra was the only team we did not beat that year, if I recall correctly

Actually we lost both regular season matches to Melbourne comfortably and if we had have beat Penrith in the last round we would have played them too by finishing 3rd and them finishing 6th. We were racking Penrith too and took the foot off. I always wondered if they threw that game just to avoid playing Melbourne, but far fetched thoughts. Melbourne had us covered that year and I'd have been very worried about them beating us. They beat us in round 25 to end our streak actually.

We also didn't beat Penrith that year but only played them in the aforementioned game. Played and lost to Melbourne twice and Parramatta twice.

Yep I'm with you on that one Mac with throwing the Penrith game

If I remember correctly Parra played Newcastle in the early game in the final round and Newcastle almost beat Parra

We were looking good ( we led 18-0 ) until the final score came in the Newcastle Parra game and then we seemed to fall apart .

Coincidence …............ we will never know

I was out with a number of Panthers players the night after that game, the foot came off the pedal for sure, remember musing about why.
