Hahaha so maybe WE have the FIRST game at WSS

Suck that Parra!

…..The Telegraph also revealed that the holiday weekend will feature the maiden NRL game at the new Western Sydney Stadium on the Monday afternoon between Parramatta Eels and Wests Tigers.
>
Parramatta are at loggerheads with the new stadium's owner VenuesLive, and are refusing to host home games at the new ground.
>
In light of the report, it's expected Wests Tigers - who will host select home games at the new ground - will be the home side for the fixture......

Thats so freaking awesome!!!! The new stadium packed with black, gold and white. Their fans will lose it.

That is great. Such a win for the club. We could really make this OUR home ground if Parra want to keep arguing with the ground management.

That would be awesome if it happens. Atmosphere would be amazing, definitely be buying tickets for that game.

We'll move it to Lidcombe.

Appears we've lost a home game to the magic round in Brisbane v Penrith.
Maybe why there's no mention of our Tamworth game in a recent "regional nrl games" article… Although all those games mentions had govt support I'm not sure if ours did.
Though if we play 4 x WSS, that only leaves seven
1x suncorp
1xtamworth
3x LO
3xCSS
4xWSS

Only two forwards on the bench? No thanks! ET would have to play 80 minutes in that scenario and he struggles when he starts to get past 70 minutes.

If Benji is going to be on the bench then we need to have an 80 minute hooker. Personally I don't think we have the forward pack or the hooker to carry a utility like Benji.

Three forwards.

1\. Alex Twal
2\. Jacob Liddle
3\. Zane Musgrove - if allowed to play

Madge just txt me the team for rd 1, and here it is:

Damn shame, Tommy Turbo for Manly is out of the 1st round game against us .. due to a hamstring tear suffered yesterday afternoon in Manlys loss to Penriff. Kiku for Penriff is also in doubt for the 1st round after being assisted from the field.

That team looks pretty likely to happen. Maybe Benji will start. Maybe Marsters will stay on the right.

Great news for us about Trbojevic. I don't think that Manly will be the easy 2 points that some seem to think. Kelepi Tanginoa and Tanieli Paseka are in doubt with knee injuries as well, so potentially losing two front rowers as well is huge for us.
