Well the trials are over. Those in the running for a place in the 17 have had the chance to impress Commander Sheens. I doubt those that didn't figure in the last two trials have any chance of selection.

Sheens team will most likely be (don't need to be Einstein to figure it out) -

2\. Fitzhenry (I would pick Pritchard - but that can't happen now)
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Ryan

6\. Marshall
7\. Lui
(Sheens might swap the numbers, just because he can, but they will play the same roles)

11\. Ellis
10\. Galloway
9\. Farah ©

15\. Moors (I would pick Fifita)
16\. Schirnack
17\. Payten (if fit will be selected)

One hour before kick off Sheens will change the line up, Fulton will move to the bench and either Payten or Moors will start.

The signings of Brown & Daniela is a kick in the guts to those that have the talent and ability and have been busting their arses at Balmain and Wests respectively. Both these players have been given a chance by Commander Sheens and have failed to impress, showing that they are state cup level at best. This has restricted the progress of other more derserving players. Players like Pritchard, Davis and Taumata must be thinking how the hell these two players got a run ahead of them.

If Lote arrives he will wear No.2 other than that i reckon ur spot on.I agree with ur thoughts on Brown and Daniela they have failed to impress,but i would prefer either of them to Fitzhenry.

Let's hope Lote arrives before and is ready then for round 1\. If he does that would more than likely push Fitzhenry back to the bench.

My preference would be Pritchard but that won't happen, sorry but Fitzhenry is a better winger than Brown and Daniella combined, and Sheens will select him if Lote isn't ready.

would make sense to carry 4 forwards on the bench for the first few weeks while it's still hot. if need be, fulton can be used as a utility and the back row can be easily covered.

or if sheens wants to have a utility on the bench i'd go with someone like flanagan who could cover the back row rather than fitzy who covers the back line.

If Lotto arrives on the Wednesday then I would play him. There is no need for a back on the bench. We have Fulton that can slot into 5/8 or Farah than can go to 7 if a back gets injured. Then the players just shuffle one position out.
