We almost always carry a back on the bench for the first few rounds of late though don't we?

And they get 3 minutes game time when they're selected on the bench and they're thrown in the deep end when we're behind and expected to win the game for us. It happened to Tim Moltzen more than once last year.

Do you mean Moltzen or Hanabury, I think Moltzen was in the starting 13 every week except when maybe he was out injured with a crook elbow

I hate the back on the bench but it actually helped us in a few games. There was a few times last year when Hanbury was thrown in early because of an injury to one of our outside backs.

Hanbury was the unlucky back on the bench more often than not, but yeah, there were a couple of games where he came in handy.

Every game that Benji plays I am more relieved that he makes it through unscaved than whether we win or not… Thats a bad sign.

We have invested a LOT of money in this bloke and he owes us a full season, no excuses, if he can't deliever it then its obvious he cannot handle the rigours of league.

I usesd to feel the same but watching him last year i felt he turned a corner, i know we have invested a lot in him but im confident he will not be an injury prone player. Look at his record last year he played all but 1 game plus the 4 nations tour.

Instead of 2 to 4 weeks...try 6 to 8...

Just spoke to member of his family and he spoke to him today and HE IS PLAYING NO DOUBT AT ALL
