Why do people insist on moving players who have never played the position to that position

Particularly centre .....it is arguably the hardest spot to defend and people are wanting to move Bula .....Mason ......Latu Fainu to centre .....if we move someone to centre it should be Bird

Bird and Skelton. We have plenty of wingers. One is old the other young. Both are fit. Teacher and student working side by side.

Tbh if Best starts to dominate I'd put Bird in the centres.

If he starts to dominate TStyle he should stay there in that position. Why rock the unsteady boat? Maybe his backline days are beyond him. Otherwise centre for knowledge and experience next to Skelton - definately not speed.

We have so many centres in the squad that are either busted or just below first grade standard (imo). Faatape I still have some hope for but would have liked to see him.in cup for a while to keep working on D.

The kid is only 19 and played a handful of games .. I think whatever he lacks he makes up for it in desire. Guy is a ball of energy

I also may be biased because my uncle coached him in the juniors so I want him to do well lol

I like Mason. He has a blocked path into first grade at fullback. I'd love to see him have a go in the centres. His speed and footwork could be good there.

Defence. Best is strong and deceptibl quick but his passing skills and his one directional play gives time to the defence to get in his face. He doesn't have a big step. He uses speed and power to get through.

Bird would stop that.

If we win this week we will be in for a huge season because we have 3 19 yr olds in the spine, backups in both centre spots, 6 new players which so many new combinations and our star player who hasn't played a trial.

Will be really happy if we keep it competitive but given the team that would be a major surprise- in saying that whatever the result I think we will have a good season just not expecting much this week
