what is going on here .. our player gets penalised for raised elbow to the face .. then Harry Grant raises an elbow to Latu's face .. and we get penalised .. but its Sione who is already in the tackle get penalised for holding down Grant .. when Chan comes running in fromm 5m away and starts pushing players around .. ??

Also Harry Grant earlier makes a tackle and gets a head knock .. rolls out of tackle then falls over trying to get up .. no call by the officials to get him checked out .. 2 mins later Grant scores under the posts .. then Twal gets a minor knock to the head .. and is forced off the field but then we find out it was a Cat 3 call so that only needed an assessment on the field not to be taken off the field for an assessment .. why wasn't Grant asked to leave the field when he's was Cat 2 head knock .. this is bullshit .. why is that we always get shafted by the officials and their calls .. !!

Has one of our players dated one of the Video refs daughter and did her wrong or something .. bullshit calls going on here .. !!

My main concern was how do they do this to Twall and miss grant unable to get up , it was replayed and should have been acted on by the storm trainers , Bellamy was watching it on a monitor so he is a weak as as well , player welfare or a win , that’s the issue and also NRL having the storm down bottom don’t sit well so they send in a corrupt ref to sort it out

Storm first set get a penalty for nothing.

Their second set 6 again on the 4th tackle for offside and they nearly ran 10 metres before we tackled them.

Grant stumbles with a head knock and doesn't have to go off. He scores.

Twal required to have a trainer assess him but ref tells him he has to leave the field.

With possibly no Twal as well ! That was an elbow to the throat ! A week or two !

JWH used his forearm his whole career on every run and never got penalised once for it. Twal uses it for the first time- penalty.

The first 5-10 montes of the game these days are so critical. Refs set the tone with 6 again then always ease up after the initial period. Yes the calls weren’t great for us but we have to be smart enough to realise how important this part is. We are unfortunately the complete opposite of smart. Hope barely getting to hooker every play with poor service, second markers standing still resting up, throwing the call around like it’s last play of the game and it’s six again, the list goes on

Getting to marker was as big an issue for Hope too. He was obviously not more than a third choice level backup hooker, and spots were available, yet here we are.

Terrell back next week, Api the week after? What round is Bula estimated to be back?

Doueihi and Fainu are gone for a while, but would be good to get those three back as soon as possible, especially Api as Hope is hopeless. Surely Latu starting hooker next week.

I agree 100%. We're not flush with choices. Won't happen but I'd throw Luai in at 9 and Latu at 6 for the 2nd half.
