Regardless of the referee making it hard for us, our defensive line speed was not great from early on and that is Bunty’s biggest downfall in his game.
We miss a big body on our outside backs, Skelton could provide that as well as being much harder tj out jump by tall wingers such as Warbrick.
Not Luke Laulilli’s fault, but you can’t have two short wingers when you are under the pump defensively. We should have either played Turuva at right centre or Luke Laulilli at fullback to allow Skelton to play on the wing.
If we let Skelton go, where are we finding someone else with the physical attributes required to replace him ? You could say Makasini, but I think he is much better as a centre.

Twice in our first set we should have got 6 again

Storm first set get a penalty for nothing.

Their second set 6 again on the 4th tackle for offside and they nearly ran 10 metres before we tackled them.

Grant stumbles with a head knock and doesn't have to go off. He scores.

Twal required to have a trainer assess him but ref tells him he has to leave the field.

He completely changed the momentum by replacing Bunty who was horrible. Game passed him by

A bit harsh for mine, as Afoa took his runs in a team that basically defended constantly when having no ball in the opening 15 minutes. Hard to judge any middle player in that situation.
