I'm feeling a little more optimistic about this game for some reason. No idea why.

I noticed that with luai and sione too. Did you play league growing up?Cronk rarely tips us. I feel like if he has any reason to be against us he will run with it.
My feeling is that we looked decent in attack in the last 20 minutes against Melbourne. Jock and Luai basically had no reps together, it took them a while to gel. Having Terrell back will stop our middle leaking, plus Latu will provide more physicality than Hope did.
Another point - Luai had Sione in space a number of times, if it was Samuela in his place we probably score another 1 or 2 tries. Hopefully these new combinations, albeit with only one game under their belt, will come to fruition.
My fear though, as many have already written here, is the Herbert vs Koula match-up. Koula is a scary player. He is both lightning fast and has good footy nous to put his winger away. The other scary match-up is Fogarty's kicking game vs our back three. Mason didn't really get tested last week, I suspect they will put more high-ball pressure on him than Melbourne did. Weirdly though I felt more assured with Mason than Turuva at fullback.
I was just about to write something similar to this. I feel alot more confident with latu in the #9 both in attack and defence.Have to own the ruck & the two spots either side of it in defence. No more trotting back into the line with the back turned.
Manly have their issues at #9 right now, which could be our biggest benefit- they might struggle to exploit our lazier defenders.
Winning the ruck goes a long way to winning this game. And winning this game with the bye to follow & troops (Api..) coming back is great for getting some momentum back leading into SOO period.
Our forwards SHOULD match up with theirs. I'd have Twal & Seyfarth stuck on Olakau'atu as long as they can be to nullify his impact.
I'd look for Royce to have a bounce back game this week too.
Played a tiny amount but there wasn't really league where I grew up. It was all union. I'm more of an Andrew Voss nerd type.I noticed that with luai and sione too. Did you play league growing up?
It’s a conspiracy, there needs to be an investigation.Does anyone know why it seems like every year Magic Round falls on a Broncos away game? You'd think they'd organise it so it was always a Broncos home game, otherwise it's not fair.

Bulldog should change his name to Bullshit Ritchie. 🤣With Api back this weekend we will win
“Tigers captain Api Koroisau – who has just served a three-game suspension – could make a late push for selection with a strong showing against Manly.” Dean Ritchie. 🤣
Wouldn’t that be nice. With Api back this weekend we will win

Yeah but only the last 10 yearsWe sure continue to have tiny wingers both sides.
He is out. Sorry meant to put this up yesterday but didnt press post. One to be eyes up on, my boy Alex Twal was not spotted at captains run after hurting himself last week. Very little reported on what he actually did but I’m not getting good vibes
that really sucks....He is out. Sorry meant to put this up yesterday but didnt press post.
No twalthe wet should help us, bring it down toa forward battle
maybe we get the job done, the manly pack is the weakness
Yep, for whatever reasons WT would seem to go against the NRL trend of big wingers. I thought we had atleast 1 big one in Skelton and maybe a second coming through in Makasini. If the rumour of Skelton to Parra is true, we're on backfoot somewhat.Yeah but only the last 10 years
