TEAM LIST Round 11 vs Rabbitohs

Team List
If Souths were paying attention, they would run a lot of traffic at galvin and seyfarth. Melbourne destroyed us running there. Maybe naden is on the bench in case galvin struggles defensively again.

must not have watched Nado last week. For mine the first try (the start of the rot) was on him, either lack of effort, or just too slow.. not sure which... but either way, he is no longer first grade standard.
No I watched it and suffered the pain and I agree with what you state. I was just working through the likely reasoning for the decision to name Nado on the bench. There were plenty more who displayed a lack of effort or technique that have held their spots. I think Benji has given most the opportunity to redeem themselves.

The point of my post was more about the general consensus that selecting Naden on the bench was akin to the world being about to end and the reasons that it is not as bleak as it has been made out to be. Would I have selected him? Probably not, but then again if I had the clipboard Galvin wouldn't be in the 6 either.

I support Nado being given a chance. Hes long overdue for a factory game.

Just FYI, it has just started raining in Sydney and its expected to be steady at 5 days worth solid.

Chance the game might be cancelled.

Otherwise:

Wet and clay like track, probably helps them except for slowing down Lats.

Slippery, slimy and mushy conditions.

I think this will effect our selections and game plan.

CO is one of the best draining grounds. No clay, slime or mush. Have you ever been there?

Crazy post.

Maybe the players should runout in ponchos…no one wants to get drenched lol

We did OK vs the Warriors in the wet at CS

Yes you are quite right.

I just thought we might have more might and power on a dry track as Souths look dodgy.

Now all the players will take less risks & game plan will be less expansive.

Should be total hell up the middle.

how is Kit Lauilli doing in reserve grade do we think we can promote him to first grade whilst Pole is injured or is there anyone else in the front row who could potentially be promoted to first grade

What a weird souths side.

Campbell Graham in the centers and Mitchell at fullback is concerning for us. But Johnson is surely too slow for the wing now.

Sullivan + Humphries is surely not Bennett's prefered halves pairing. Still Bennett could get them firing...

IT seems weird, but that may mean it's winable for us.

Were that desperate for good front rowers, arent we?

I lamented the melbourne result, because we would want to drop someone. Yet melbourne was never really a winable game for us (unless they did not turn up or Jerome bribed the ref or something). Souths is winable for us, do we want to drop some of our better props for fringe graders to teach a lesson?

A lesson that will lower us further on the ladder?

Maybe we have too... I just hate the thought of loosing another game doing it like with Parra.

I’d say Bud will be primed for a big one !

Jland is awesome. I lived there many years thru the 90s and miss the lifestyle around Kochi, great waves, great people, great rugby community. Currently looking at buying a house there for future long stays. f@#k Albo and his interest rate hikes. Enjoy mate, gambarre!!
Nice. Sendai, Yamagata and Tokyo myself from mid 80s to the 90s.
Currently just east of Mt Tsurugi, doing the Super Rindo Forest Road tomorrow to end up in Okawa, north of Kochi. All up 3 weeks in Shikoku n Kyushu

He shouldnt get too primed, because hes going to spend most of the afternoon on the deck as road kill.

And i say that as a fan who has some genuine affection for him.

Leaving Humphries, still a bit ginger from serious injury, to take command.

Hes definately someone it would be useful to (legally) nail early and keep fearful.

JL on the other hand, weve all seen him hit and then pat his adversary respectfully for a good shot on him lol.

The respect for this Souths side is a bit unnerving.
