Round 12 *Discussion/Spoilers*

A lot of teams around us picking up wins this weekend. We seem to be priming ourselves for last once again.
 
Is anyone else frustrated with the broadcast quality of NZs Sky Sports for their warriors games. It doesn’t even look 1080 HD. More likely 720.
I can’t see why Fox can’t take over and broadcast these games. As much as it’s nice watching NZ at home on TV it’s frustrating that none of the games are 4K. Bet the locals would feel similar too.

Not just physical effort stephen: you've gotta be mentally/psychologically strong as well.
 
Well we now at the end of round 12 drop down to 16th only F&A saving us from last.

We are in the exact same spot as last 2 seasons 2nd last, our our attack is worse and our defence is worse than last season

People talk about injuries, youth this and that it’s all excuses. Titans, Warriors, Bulldogs, Raiders and Knights all have significant players out, give rookies a crack over the 12 rounds & found ways to win games.

No excuses just a smack of reality.Right from the get go it was bleeding obvious that we did not strengthen our roster significantly to improve our position let alone be forced to rely on our very questionable depth when the injuries and wear and tear hit. The Bulldogs did a massive recruitment drive and added an additional marquee to their list of quality players and all those players have made a huge impact on their performances. The other teams you mention all started from a position of strength far greater than ours. Our position is a reflection of our weak roster, and some will throw in the rookie coach because they are always the first target, and it appears our CEO is trying to do something about it.

Keep making excuses that’s what the previous coaches, admin & us fans continue to do.

Titans, Knights, Warriors, Raiders are using 2nd and 3rd string players + Rookies in positions and firing.

I’m over excuses. We just aren’t improving so it’s either a massive shakeup/cleanout or a drastic shift must occur. Heck we are getting thumped playing juniors in cup, might as well get them into NRL level and speed up their progress.

We are in a shocking state which isn’t actually going forward this year to last year as of round 12.

We have a prop the club views as our Payne Haas, we have Klemmer/Api/Papa/Bateman mixed into it our long term viewed fullback, 5/8th, backrower and center. The results shouldn’t be same same.

Benji is a rookie coach and was always going to make mistakes - Sheens bailed the guy had next to no chance of success this year.

The reality is that our top line squad when on the park is better on paper than some of those teams and we for 3 seasons in a row are just not delivering results & improving in key result indicators.

The strength of any club is in it depth. Who is making excuses we were tipped to be a bottom 4 club we are exactly where most expected us to be except the wishful thinkers.
