Not sure about that ...just remember our draw and giving us a chance at the Top 8🤪At this point in 2005 Tigers sat about 11th on the ladder 🤔

I got on us at 81-1 in '05I think we were 250-1 in 05
It's a good tactic. Make the refs walk on eggshells every time they are allocated to one of our games. It's not about the win, it's about getting the decisions right. Sheensy has some good arguments here. The old bastard still has a quality whinge in him 😂
Big ups to Payten with his comments regarding Luke Brooks tooLoved the post match pressers
Payten & Townsend - we were outplayed on all aspects across the park in every position. They ran harder and tackled harder.
Sheens - will enjoy the win then moved onto will be talking to the bunker crew, clear deflecting to lower hype/expectations/pressure.
They’ll beat the Raiders too. Raiders are all effort, but that goes away when they don’t have the ball.Even the air smells better after a tigers win.

Although I to agree Tuck would find a negative in winning the lottery, 🤫, there’s some merit to what he’s saying there. He is right though.
Offence is a form of defence. The longer you hang on to that pill, you deny scoring opportunities to the opposition. There's nothing inherently wrong with playing footy like that but you need to make sure with that possession you're scoring points too. We've been thereabouts in pretty much all games we've lost this year and the difference was not being able to convert our possession and field position into points. We did it last night and the Cowboys were never in the game as a result.
You're right about defending errors, that seems to be a WT thing. We'll get over it, just as we're shaking off the other bad traits of the last ten years. Where our defence has improved is the intensity. We're smashing them coming off their own line and this leads to poor opposition completion rates and field position. We're forcing errors and stifling game plans. Last night, from kickoffs, we were driving every forward backwards with contempt. Klemmer has made a massive difference to the middle and I doubt any pack will dominate WT this season. Stef, Pole, Twal and Ice just hammer them.It is very clear that our defence has two weaknesses…
We struggle to defend an error and our goaline defence inside our 20 is soft.
Everything else you can do to limit the opposition scoring we are doing. Almost every game this year we have won the possession tug of war and have done so through higher completion rates than our opposition. We have also generally enjoyed higher field position percentages in opposition territory. Even when we’re playing poorly, teams were not blowing us away as they were struggling to cover the territory required to enter our red zone. Once they did though, usually through an error - and even last night it happened, we give up easy tries.
Like you said, if our attack was clicking a bit better earlier this year, we would be on 6 or 7 wins. Once we fix our structures and techniques on the goal line and get over the psychological barrier of defending an error at our end, we will be tough to beat because we already are doing everything else to a high standard to ensure it’s hard to pile points on us.
In all seriousness, could Staines play in the centres? Is his defence good enough?More attack to come via Naden, staines, laurie etc thats if they can get back into the side 🤣
And one of their tries was offside by a mile. Not the best thing letting them score 3 times with 3 sets in our 20 and with 35% posession. They pretty much scored every time they had an opportunity too. Hopefully it's not overlooked by the coaching staff
Broncos murdered our pack. You're right about defending errors, that seems to be a WT thing. We'll get over it, just as we're shaking off the other bad traits of the last ten years. Did anybody else notice Luke slowing down then speeding up the play when we were in shape. Seemed to make an impactWe played with tempo when we had the ball tonight.
It made a huge difference compared our usual slow motion attack.
Like the light bulb has gone on.
I’ve never watched a game at Leichhardt and was considering booking a flight to come down to watch but changed my mind, what a goose!Last night was an absolute awesome game to be at. The last 15 mins was a scorathon. I hope the boys enjoy this win over the bye, cause as Sheens said in the press conference afterwards, only halfway through the season. Let's hope this win is not a flash in the pan.
Fully. Even in the all-out-attacking days of Benji we never saw anything like this.93% completion ! Ran for over a 1000m more than Cows
600 post contact meters 55 tackle busts
11 line breaks
I've never seen such dominant stats
Sensational performance
