When in the last 10 years have we had the character we have now? A playing group as tight as we are now?
We were a bees dick from one of the greatest comebacks in the NRL after playing a quarter of the game a man down... Three quarters of the game with 3 on the bench

Great 60 mins with 13 men, killed ourselves when players in the bin.
We really need to sign some forwards - when your backrow at one stage includes both Bird and Naden who replaced Seyfarth and Sukkar its not good signs. Now admittedly the Twal hia had a huge effect on top of Pole being out and Hunt making 1 run for the whole night - need to a prop to be signed this week

If it was questionable before, comments of too many members commenting on this game, show how easily they give up, especially when the going gets tough! What to say about them other than: LOOSERS!

Twal going off injured was a big blow. Where was Hunt in the 2nd half? Our 2nd rowers need to be dropped. Sukkar needs to start, bird is useless.

Nailed it. Backrowers are too important to carry liabilities. Only came back because our skill players had a license to play reckless footy.

It's great to see a young Wests junior, Mason, and a young Balmain junior, Sukkar, perform well under enormous pressure and the humidity in Townsville.

We have looked like this for a few games now. It’s like we put our foot in the water and don’t commit to playing with any real effort or heart until we can’t win the game. At that point we start playing like we should from the outset.
A lack of belief. The desire and hunger from early in the season has disappeared.
Api needs a break in the game and we need TDS coming onto the bench. We are short 2-3 quality forwards and a centre.

I'm impressed with the fight in the team. Having 2 in the bin, to only lose 32-28, I've got some real optimism in the direction this team is going after the Galvin debacle. Now they can just concentrate on the season.
Being 1 player short for 20 mins, to where the Cowboys scored the majority of their points, and for them to have a desire to win, i can't complain. Though the Doueihi sin bin, I thought was a bit tough.

I've had enough of trying to be positive after a loss. A loss is nothing to be positive about.

Yeah true but if Richo and Benji don't bring some high quality players to the club, we will continue to be ordinary.
Its clear as day we need about four quality footballers to improve

Latu will compliment Luai more, he can direct a side around and has a strong attacking kicking game. Mason is a strong back up option but too similar to Luai.
