AD consistently makes bad decisions both in attack and defence and he is not a good enough goal kicker to carry him.He cost us 2 tries at the start of the 2nd half half when he took the wrong option in attack.We need a better option then him for next year and the future.

By the letter of the law it was a hipdrop. If Bula played for Parramatta, he would've been writhing in pain, forcing the video ref to adjudicate. But the Tigers don't bother with gamesmanship. Goalkicking was the difference. We were an inch short of winning the game. Marshall is the coach and Bird made an impact when he came on. I am not upset about his decision and being the good communicator he is, I'm sure he has spoken to that player.

No, goalkicking wasn't the difference and a win would have only plastered over the faults, coaching, refereeing and otherwise.

I have and maybe still support Benji despite my anger tonight, but don't give a shit how good he communicates if he wastes the only frontrower on the bench. He needs to be called out on it, as our lack of size on the field was pretty obvious until Sione returned.

Bird and Murray identical stats: 22min each (5 hit ups -40M/34M, 20 tackles each, 1 miss tackle).
Effort players but little impact.
Poor bench and even giving Kit 5min end of 1st half and then 5-10min start of 2nd half would have given May/Fainu a decent breather to see out the match.
I am not a big believer of having players sit on the bench and not given game time. Poor bench management.
As coach you should have a plan in place on when players need to be replaced for a breather.
This is Marshalls worst trait as a coach is his game management.

Benjis use of the bench is honestly starting to become very puzzling. Wasting 2 interchanges by taking May off for 5 minutes, giving Bird a 15 minute stint in the first half then only the last 5 mins & then not even giving Kit a single minute????? puzzling.
