LIVE GAME Round 14 v Panthers

Live Game Discussion
The current King of Leichhardt - Alex Seyfarth - only 6 missed tackles today (33 made). I don't know if the Zurich Centre has erected statues of WT legends in it, but I think this guy needs to be the first thing people see when they walk through the front door at HQ. Just like how the MCG has the Warney statue out front.
A true role model for all reserve grade players. Perhaps it's more appropriate at Lidcombe Oval?

We lost that game because Penrith has heart and will fight for every play, we've been heartless since this club was first established. We fluked a premiership along the way and didn't make the 8 the following year.

Wooden spoon incoming for sure. Only games I see us with a chance V Titans twice.
How can you say we have no heart. Murray, Sukkar and pretty much Mason were part of a patchwork quilt pack that didn't take a backward step against a pack with 5 origin players. The guys put in.

Was sitting next to a panthers couple with a 10yo son with them...we were chatting occasionally seemed like nice bloke then when Luai hit Cleary this guy just totally blew his mind...like a switch flicked..spit flying and temple veins throbbing, 2 dozen F & Cs directed at Luai...poor little kid looking embarrased as hell as was mum...i said to him when he calmed down i bet you loved him the past 4 years..."naah hes always been a %!*%* and hes nothing without Nathe"

Lol emotion + booze = psycho.

Tough game...boys had a real dig we just cant find that polishing finish.
Im surprised at peoples comment on Romey i thought he was fairly average to costly...we were near perfect first half completion.rate 2nd half no field.position and looked buggered im amazed to read kit didnt get a run...
Parra stdm shits me i think its colder than canberra...another brilliant move from the club playing here...why were.penrith in their main strip when.its our home game,?
Bro - no where is colder than Canberra…
No where

Doueihi can't be considered a first grade center, need to upgrade that position next year.
Charlie Murray no good, where was kit?

Had Bula as man of the match closely followed by luai.

We should have won that game, weren't far off!!
Hate to say it but Douehi looked lost, whilst have no idea why Kit didn’t get a run.
Luais best game since he joined us, different structure gave him a little more room. That’s more like.
Hate to say it but it’s a game of inches and we came up just short. Overall effort good.

Jarome Luai learned a valuable lesson tonight. He does not play for Penrith anymore. Some of the garbage he has in his game for us was overlooked by referees when he was playing there. But here, he's just not gonna get those calls in his favour. That's just how it is.

A little off topic here but what's everyone's thoughts on the possibility of a Domino effect player movement come June 30 that sees the Wests Tigers land themselves K P-P or the signing of any other quality 1st Graders for the remainder of the season?

Canberra and Warriors are not much better? That’ll do me 🤷

Squads like Melbourne, Bulldogs, Easts, Brisbane and Sharks are vastly better than ours. Warriors and Canberra are well drilled and play to their maximum abilities every week. We only lost to the Warriors because we bombed a couple of certain tries and I'm expecting a close game against Canberta after the bye.

Why do the tigers get treated differently to the other teams by the ref?

In the end, Marshall was correct and we were in the game right up until the last minute. I fail to understand the upset, it is the NRL.
How on earth was it correct, we lost with a fresh player, our only prop at that, sitting on the bench gaining absolutely nothing watching a lightweight on debut give away a penalty on the last tackle near halfway a minute out from half-time.

Sione comes off and Bird replaced him, hmmmm, okay, maybe but then we have Latu and Murray there as well getting outmuscled with our only big replacement sleeping.

So fed up with the constant Tigers pile on. The guys went out there and did us all proud. Even with a patchwork forward pack we showed we can compete with a pack that has what, like 5 origin players in it. We had a whole new halves combo. We've just found our no 14 in Mason imo. Luai had his best game for us, his second half wasn't as dominant as his first though I think having Latu back in aswell as Mason out there could have contributed in the attack looking a bit more clunky, in three weeks he's been paired with 3 separate halves partners. He did well for us today. We have obviously turned a corner and are nowhere near the team we have been the last 3 years and are on the up. All we ever hear about is the Tigers have lost. How come noone in the media does us a favour and tell the truth and hammer the refereeing. Or the fact the N.R.L sit idly by while other club managment and player agents use us as a development club. Why didn't the N.R.L tell Moses to pull his head in with the lawsuit crap. I'm so frustrated. We have no voice, we have no way or telling them how we as fans feel about this garbage and the ones we rely on to, the media are just in on this scam.
💯 agree, sick of the refs bias and never getting the rub of the green, hopefully that will change one day

It starts at the top. Richo should come out and make a statement criticising the refereeing and showing support for his club.If he cops a fine so be it. Everyone in the club including the supporters would be totally stoked by this and shows that he cares that these constant refereeing performances will be called out.

He needs to be sat down by someone senior at the club every week until he gets this

Goalkicking was the difference. We were an inch short of winning the game. Marshall is the coach and Bird made an impact when he came on. I am not upset about his decision and being the good communicator he is, I'm sure he has spoken to that player.
