I like the way you have expressed yourself and agree with your comments. If the boys have a dig it could well work out. My issue that I have been saying for the last few years is why we do not improve as the season goes on. We are a team that ends up playing much worse at the back half of the season. I d still don't know why?Quite so, but maybe:
Titans can lift at times as well, they’ve got some handy players and Des.
The Raiders usually start their annual choke-fest due to commence in a few weeks or so. The wheels always fall off. You can almost set your calendar to it.
Manly are also quite fickle this season while the knights are not without their own troubles.
The dogs have proven that they are a lot more vulnerable than people think. They are long overdue for a solid spell of rubbish.
It’s an old cliche, but we really need to look at what we are doing. We remain a bit ill disciplined and lose critical focus.
I think Benji is finally shaking up a few things. So I support the theory of the side v Penrith, as for the practice, we don’t know. But he is having a swing and not waiting for scraps later.
The riff have the same support structure etc but like Benji, Ivan is having issues communicating. They have enough to make a finals show, but they aren’t pushing through. It would be deeply frustrating for them. Their bench this week is a footy funeral cortège compared to ours. It’s their pack I worry about.
Plus we have the balance of the origin series to sap our opponents.

He's been playing cup the past few months.Does anyone have any info on Elie El-ZakHem ?
On our team list on the Wests Tigers site
I hope these guys are not the signings Richo was talking about. (him and Murray)
All good points and granted. Doesn't seem to be getting any better though. Coaching. Planning. Recruitment must changeThank you for your kind words.
We appear to suffer a lot due to injuries at the business end of the season. So in turn, that means that we need to draw upon depth. Fans, we like to compare the first teams, but the realities are quite different!
If individual players are struggling at the backend, then I think that’s also a product of lack of support, lack of coaching and also a shortage of class teammates. Players also hide injuries.
So probably a conga line of reasons.
Good question.
I hazard a guess that our debilitating conditions at the backend are shared by other clubs as well.
So I’ve always been big on getting the right people into the critical support roles.
Yes and the extent of the changes remains a controversial topic. All good points and granted. Doesn't seem to be getting any better though. Coaching. Planning. Recruitment must change
I agree with you after the Melbourne pasting and why it happened in the first place. I guess I will never understand the mindset you are in to allow to happen if you are a professional sportsman. Teams do go and down through the course of the season let's hope your optimism is on the money.Yes and the extent of the changes remains a controversial topic.
Those who subscribe to the “tweak” camp believing the foundation is ok v those who haven’t seen enough to warrant saving the existing regime.
And the issue plays out almost week to week.
There’s been a recovery of sorts but good sides don’t get beaten to a pulp like we did v storm. There was speculation there was no simply no path forward this season after that.
I was in that camp at the time and only marginal comfort since.
The disappointment lingers on.
But a couple of players back may assist and I’m not as scared of the panthers as some are.
It's not your job to understand. Your job is too pay. Keep it simple. On the money.I agree with you after the Melbourne pasting and why it happened in the first place. Thanks for sharing. Much appreciated
I understand that either the club or myself are dysfunctional . Very good chance both are trueIt's not your job to understand. Your job is too pay. Keep it simple. On the money.
It's not you. Appreciate your humbleness and reality. 👊I understand that either the club or myself are dysfunctional . Very good chance both are true

Well he was very polite and deserved the acknowledgement. And of course, he made good points which I’ve thought about. His observations were spot on. I was throwing a few ideas up for consideration.Thank you for your kind words 🙂 as spoken by TSP in reply to @Squater.
Well said champion (the word borrowed from @tiger_one) TSP.
You may have started the ball rolling with all posters actually being kind, respectful and understanding of each other 💗.
Maybe the Mods could even have an award each month for the friendliest post, or is this idea to 'woke' for to many people.
I have actually worked out who I reckon would be the best person to decide the post of the month and hand out the award, but I won't tell you his name yet.
He's been playing cup the past few months.
Returned from a stint in England [Castleford Tigers] before he was at the Roosters [NSW Cup] and coming through the grades at Eels.
Has represented Lebanon in the world cup. Always thought he's a solid player, knocking on the door of first grade.
He's a worker, probably deserves a chance but hasn't got it yet. One to watch....
Always thought he'd be a good recruit.
I hate it, sorry mate.I like Adel's idea on the Wests tigers life podcast of trying API at 13 and TDS at hooker. I think attack wise Api would play that role well. Perhaps bring talyn on after 20 or 30 and play him for the rest. I feel we stifle our attack by playing very limited attacking big men like Twal in that role. And our mobility in both attack and defense is pretty limited compared to many teams out there.
Obviously the issue would be defense. But I could see that also not being too bad in that both TDS and API are good for line speed and they could potentially take turns on playing the disruptor role in charging in ahead of the line. Api misses some tackles but many of his misses are simply from him playing that role of disruptor. I think it would mean that we'd need a stronger tackler out wide than seyfarth.
I think it'd be worth trying as a way of getting our best 13 on the field as well as giving decent minutes to TDS.
