He's the captain of the NSW Cup team.
He looks unfit, unconditioned and he's a but injury prone.

He'd struggle in first grade at the moment.
3 year deal, they might think he has promise.... Joffa also got a 3 year deal and ended up getting the slice.

One to watch I guess, hopefully he continues developing.

I don’t rate Rua at all.

Poor decision-maker close to the line and not a great creative hooker either.

Da Silva is a far better prospect to try to bring through.

TDS is probably the best potential star kid coming through the ranks and would be clear favorite to take over from Api. Hooker clear as day.

He has been in the junior ranks for a while jumping up big time this year from schoolboys into the NRL lists & really dominated at each level. Would be close to becoming the youngest hooker to debut in the NRL history if it happened.

Against the Raiders pack would be one heck of a test, they are giants and run hard. Feel sorry for the kid tbh.

There is no way on earth he is ready for first grade.
He is talented but is still inside the body of a boy.
The Raiders would send him to ICU.

Unfortunately this is another example of sheens willing to weaken the squad (Joffa gone) for this season (like last season) in the hope of ‘possible’ future improvements

Seyfarth is one of those guys who is above reserve grade but not quite up to firsts. This could be his last chance at being a first grader before others overtake him. Best of luck to him.

Robbie was already 19 when he debuted.

Tallyn recently turned 18, so if he was to debut it would be a year younger than Farah was when he debuted in '03.

I doubt he will play I think it's more about NRL game day experience and training and development building relationships with the senior team members so he feels comfortable around them so when he does make his debut this year he will feel more at ease

Interesting to note that we have only a 6 day turnaround against the Titans after this one. So if Api does backup on Friday, that will be 3 games in 9 days. I think either way (Api or Da Silva), Simpkin goes really big minutes as a starter.

Have you watched any state cup?

I was hailing Rua big time a year ago...but he has done absolutely nothing this season in state cup. He has had half a dozen games of ZERO running meters, his passing is average, and he looks completely out on his feet most games after about 20 mins.

He looked a stud in Flegg...and ran like a bull. No idea why he has stopped running, even allowing for his injury. He has had months back now and still looks unfit.

Needs a massive off season...but he is 23 already. i.e. not young.

He is two years older than Jake.

He may well never make it.

Yes.

Fairly sure Benji scored 5 tries v Newcastle in a reserve grade game before his debut. My memory may be failing me, but he def played some reggies.
