Seyfarth is a Sheens player, through and through.

Not sure what is going on with Blore though, he has looked great in #Cup and Sheens talked him up pre season and now he's out of favour.

Sheens has made a career of making poor selections … certainly going back to his first stint here ..

I thought Benji was supposedly going to be making the long term contract decisions ? He obviously mustn’t rate Blore either

Yeah, more to the story id say.

I think we haven't seen enough from Blore to make the assessment but from the outside looking in, he seems to be doing all the right things.

Tuiaki, Ellis, Dwyer, Bole, Tupou .....

E.g. his biggest mistake was promoting Groat instead of A Fafita

I think we haven't seen enough from Blore to make the assessment but from the outside looking in, he seems to be doing all the right things.

So would you be dropping Bateman or IPap for Blore. We only play 2 second rowers in our squad with Kepaoa being able to play wing, centre or back row and Seyfarth being this week mainly a bench middle which Blore isn't nessecarily.

Blore isn't as good as Bates or iPap obvs.
Good depth and bench option though.

He has been widely scapegoated for the origin loss - unfairly I believe.
I find him to be a dangerous player and if he sets out to prove the knockers wrong, he will cause headaches.

Mate Ray Warren was a massive fan of Groat and said he was the best Junior Prop he had even seen

Was very poor on Wednesday, honestly looked like he was out of his depth.
Was a bit of a shock as he been going from strength to strength over the past few years for the Faders.
I think he struggled outside of Luai and needed the ball earlier to be more effective.
I imagine he will bounce back tonight, but his confidence would certainly have taken a hit.

I think he became overwhelmed by the hype surrounding the team and his role within it.
Im not sure who spent the week around the team but Im sure guys like Joey Johns do not help one iota. He has a viceral hatred of QLD and cannot contain it. Remember years ago when his message to the squad was to 'get out there and smash Greg Ingliss?

Hudson looked to be taking the field with a mindset of destroyer. That is not wise in your debut game. He went away from the game style that got him selected in the first place. He got carried away and no one settled him down, they just hooked him and made him ride the pine for the majority of the game.
Mentorship is poor within that Blues camp.

He is a good player though, tough as with X factor skills. We need to nullify his involvement tonight.

This Game against the raiders is a really big indicator of how this squad is tracking.

The only debate is whether Naden should replace Talau who by the way did twice collect the short drop outs the Cowboys tried .
Apart from that what is open for discussion is the bench with imo Twal the only guaranteed member .We really need to improve our depth ! Simpkin is probable for the bench and for this week may even find himself starting if Api can't. The other 2 bench spots are for whoever is really performing well and defends outstanding and ball handling is very secure .These last 2 points don't sit well with a number of our Cup team

Its not our best 13 going forward for two reasons.
1. Joe started and is now gone - No obvious replacement currently
2. Talau started and will soon be gone - Naden the obvious replacement

Ask other Team supporters and most would be lucky to know who he is.
But yeah he seems to be on the outer after decent cup performances, strange one? I would like him on the bench he offers srf and prop, needs to start holding the ball better, same with Kepeoa covers srf and centre but with similar and D issues. We need those 2 to lock down the bench roles with another prop (Pole if we had a decent lock), and jake to round it out. This would be ideal but they need to make it happen.
