Canberra had no effective attack other than their kicking game. We matched them everywhere except with our kicking game - and the footy gods were definitely on their side tonight

Well that sucks. I thought we were the better team. Canberra only looked like they could score off kicks. They were allowed to lay all over us and yet we had the persistence to stay in it. Credit to our guys. Can't really fault anyone there.

So frustrating, we just needed to hold the ball and build some momentum. Soon as we did that we got a roll on - but it was too late.

Yet another very winnable game.

Despite the loss, lots to be proud of for our team. Our younger players were lead well by Koroisau and Bateman. Pole was outstanding and I remember telling my son at Corrimal when he changed the momentum in a game to win it for the WTs that he would be a very good NRL player. Good experience for Bula and Tupou. It is all about learning. I love the way the team is building.

Losing but learning.

We lost the game in the first half with the wasted possession, as soon as Sutton stopped the slow play the balls we came close but we have major issues in attack
