You are on the money; Api definitely offers more than his missed tackles and he is an inspirational Captain. The point I was making is that many of our fellow members had Api and Sezer in their 3,2,1 selections. You need to assess players on both sides of the pill, not just the flashy side of it. Api missing ten tackles and Sezer making three very poor defensive decisions isn't up to standard. I'm sure if you asked both of them they would agree.
Both of them bought a lot to the side and had a big impact on the win. In the eyes of some their deeds on the ball may outway their performance off it. Despite the good part of their defensive efforts, in my mind, both were responsible for placing undue pressure on their mates. Matamua, Pole, Bula and Miller also fall into that boat.
Had the Titans not been worse with the pill in hand than we were at defending we would be enduring yet another loss.
