Very hard to win when your opponents are bigger, stronged, faster and better in all the edge and wide positions each week.
We were managing while we had Samuela and KPP on our edges and Luke Laulilli’s yardage and tackle break ability was helping us more than we seem to think it did.
I’m sorry but that 2-5 combination with Taylan seemingly playing conservatively due to his shoulder, in addition to our back row who are trying hard, but in combination have little tj no x-factor, we are not scaring any NRL opponent and will likely lose twice to the Dragons.

Cannot agree. You don't weaken two positions to cover one, and especially not when said player is amongst, if not the best current player that position.

How many games has mason played in the halves this year?

Haha brother douhei cant save us, it will take him a few weeks to get into the rhythm and match fitness. we are going to lose by 20 to the knights up there.. Itll be another "great effort boys" with no competition points again

Great effort. A few of the boys got a hit handsy when they were fatigued but couldn’t expect much else when the ball was in play that long and you lose a couple of players . Our top squad is a top 8 squad.

The 2 realky bad mistakes were simple carries by those two mate. Those are the mistakes they have to get rid of. But both of them do em every week. Just hold the ball in contact.

I watched two very clever players in the NSW Cup earlier in the day. I know they are both young, but we often complain about not having players with sufficient footballing nous. The answers are in our backyard but they need time. I also believe Averillo will not be disappointed with the effort from his new team mates.

I respect your opinion @boonboon you are generally good judge of player ability and how we are travelling as a team, but honestly tell me where our points are coming from with the current 2-5 and back row we are fielding ? The vast majority of our tries today were lucky and will not happen against decent opposition who are close to full strength themselves.
I acknowledge Doueihi and Twal returning from injury will make us a much better team, but I don’t think it’s near enough unfortunately,

Full credit to Toa and Seyfarts. They cop a lot of criticism but have been great the last two weeks.
Sukkar continues to improve. Will turn into a good hybrid forward.

Sione and Pole continue to frustrate with so many terrible plays along with some good plays.
Neither are starters.

Makasini needs at least the rest of the year in Reggies to work out his game and maybe another full year. He is not ready.
