Good morning WTFamily!

It's game day at my favourite place, CSS. It's pouring here, has been all week, which means hubby can't do any of the concreting to start the pergola which needs to be finished by September for our daughter's wedding. So that means he's coming to Campbo with me!

We'll be leaving soon. Looking forward to seeing Dean Collis at The Sherwood before the game. Then hopefully seeing a bit of Cup, and the dancers.

Will the boys get the W over the dolphins? I'm hoping the changes to both teams will give us the edge. Another week for Doueihi to heal is good. But I can't help but feel bad for Latu. His confidence must be getting smashed, and all this chopping and changing and no game time can't be good for his development or his mental health. He seems like a genuinely good kid, and I'll be sad if we lose him.

Anyway, time to get up, get ready, and hit the road. See you at Campbo!!! And as Tigergran always said,

Hope you enjoy the game and the boys get up which I think we will by 8 , shame about the rain but your still going to the footy so that’s a major plus , enjoy , enjoy

I very rarely complain about the rain since moving rural. Our tanks are full, we have grass- not dust- again, and dams are full. It's lovely 😍

A win today would just make ot even better! (And the drive home doesn't seem as long after a win!)
 
It’s not going to be an easy game for us but hopefully with a bit of luck we can grab the points we so desperately need. I am out this morning & I hope I will be able to make it home in time for the game, listening to it the car just isn’t the same.
I guess my neighbours would be hoping the crazy loud Tiger supporter next door won’t be home for the game.

They are arguably the form team of the competition while we are hit and miss. They control possession and remained disciplined then not sure where anyone can see where we have it over them especially with a makeshift pack.
 
I'm in Perth, and driving home from work in peak hour on the freeway yesterday, I saw a car with "PHINSUP" plates.

When I got next to it, I grabbed my tigers stubby holder, held it out the window and yelled "Go tigers!".
Did the Phins up gesture (top of head thing) and next thing we are crawling along, having a (yelled) chat along the freeway! 😂

He said "My nephew coaches the tigers! And my other one plays fit the dolphins Jeremy Marshall-King!"

Said good luck for tomorrow - before I had a bloody crash! - and he said the same.

Was pretty cool to have a good natured back and forth like that - especially as league isn't huge here.

Gotta confess though, I think the odds are more in favour of this guy being clinically insane than actually Benji Marshall's uncle... 😂
 
Being at Campbelltown Cemetery only two results are possible. No chance of a draw, so it is lose by 2 or lose by 50.

Once Western Sydney Airport opens the trip to Campbelltown becomes much more palatable for interstate teams, so we will lose whatever advantage that might have been.
