I actually can't disagree any more woth people having shots at our wingers.

For the first time in years we have wingers that make yardage. We have struggled so badly in that are for so long.

im still kinda worried about them both under the high ball seems like kickers are targeting them and there good for 1-2 misses a game

I hear you and agree some what last night was bulas turn but even though he had a shocker he is a key to what we are doing the boys will get better

yep but benji seriously needs to let them play attacking football its when we play our best

When the front rower started getting tired he dropped off a few tackles.
They will have to work out how long to leave him on, so it doesn’t cause us issues as his runs actually caused the defence some trouble 👍

Hate to say it but I think Manly are going to come out breathing fire after their recent issues and will annihilate us.

Yes. As frustrating as it is to drop up to 5 games that a more well oiled machine would win, the fact that there are so many opportunities shows that with the new recruits and mindset change, the squad is more competitive.

True, it’s a better squad than the last few years, more resilience and generally a much better foundation to work with.

But the more we miss the boat, the less confident I get about this season.

Player error and discipline problems, but we also needed more enigmatic and creative options in attack.

And of course, those split second frustrating defensive lapses. We always seem to pay a heavy price for those.

Tribute to the players for keeping on this season. Could be the JL effect. I hope he sees his full contract through.

If he bails, it reflects poorly on him, I think he realises that. Anyway, it’s good to see his game on the rise.

I didn’t see the game unfortunately but even just looking at that picture there is no way it wouldn’t have been grounded on the white line.

WT had enough ball to win the game. The lack of depth in our play and players not in motion running onto the ball amazing me. Toa needs more early and quality ball.
Some promising signs tonight but should have beaten Canberra. Only using 16 players is plain dumb. Love AD passion but he is a liability as a modern day Centre.

We should be asking how many people live in the Camden/Narellan/Oran Park/Western Sydney Airport precinct. The South West Growth Area is where we should be targeting and the NSWRL, NRL and different levels of Govt should be assisting.

I'm confident after this effort ( 2nd half only ) we are going to rack up a few more wins
Again we came within an inch( LITERALLY) of a 3rd try and probable lead when Bula was pulled up short
Exactly same last week Bula got tackled by Sorenson
Against Cows if game had gone another 5 mins I've no doubt we would have won !
Against Souths if Galvin had not knocked on over line we would probably won that one.
We have lost 2 games by 2 points and 3 games by 4 points
Winning is a habit as is losing and we have made losing our habit
Point is we are Close !
The first half is killing us .
This time Starting with Mason and leaving Latu was a mistake by Benji
Mason keeps trying one out for the glory line break but he is a defensive liability
Put our best team on the park and I expect wins over Manly and Chooks

It would have been a penalty. Clear double movement. Bula showed great footy IQ in not claiming a try so we could play on and potentially score later in that set.

Have not seen the replay, however watching live there was a window there where he broke the tackle and reached out, would have to look at it frame by frame to check. Bula did look a bit worried and hurriedly played on, so im guessing he knew it would have been pinged as a double movement. Interesting thing is the bunker checks many things after the fact...wouldn't you think the most important action in a game i.e. scoring a try could be looked at even if the on-filed officials miss it.

My take on that game is if Latu plays 80 we win it; mason had some horrible defensive reads in the first half that led to 2 tries...one was his fault and the other on Tapine was a combination of him and Seyfarth. He also killed a number of attacking plays taking on the line too often. He could be a great 14, however needs to learn the art of playing 9, has the body and speed for it.

Agree with all of this except Turuva. I think he is maybe just above average and far from among the best in the league at anything. I've mentioned a few times however and seem to be on my own with this opinion.
