Most nights I go to sleep and there's 2 of us only to wake up and realise my wife's done a runner during the night to the spare room.

the way the raiders flicked a switch and pumped souffs in the 2nd half was impressive. If we aren’t on our game this could get ugly.

I think we'll turn up this game but won't win.

There are games at the start of the year where I'd have been happy with effort, even if we didn't win.

Now with 4 losses on the trot, effort and turning up isn't enough. Now we have to go above and beyond. Stay in the fight every tackle.

The issue with a loss here will be a big drop in morale, big drop in motivation because the likelihood of making Top 8 diminishes.

I still can’t believe we are technically 1 win away from equal 6th … 2-3 wins on the trot would change our season drastically

But we have a tough few weeks coming up, mainly tonight, roosters and warriors away

Other than the Storm game where we were all at sea and looked exhausted I believe we have competed for significant parts of the game. I just feel like the team has to click and build confidence with a decent scalp, and I don't mean an edge of your seat, heart in mouth win like the sharks, I mean a win where we dominate the full 80 and don't look like losing....if we can do that than we turn our season around. This is the perfect game and opponent to do it. Raiders are running hot (big scalp), yet I would not say they are dominating their opposition for the full 80mins, or have experienced super stars across their team. They are a team I worry about because of their big and fast outside backs, however those guys can be put off their games as they are generally less experienced players.

There are some extreme professional sportsmen in our team that are able to look past a scoreboard...look past a ladder ans.still compete as if their vying for first

writing is on the wall for us, playing against raiders who always seem to get the better of us and considering their current form and ladder standing.
Despite all that, I like every other fan and supporter of this club hoping we can get the 2 points tonight.
