LIVE GAME Round 16 v Raiders

Live Game Discussion
We have competed in most games this year but have failed to secure a few wins as the spine didnt get the job done. Individually, Api and Bula have won us games, but as a group, the spine hasnt performed as we had hoped it would.
Time for Luai to stand up. No more BS from him. He needs to secure wins and lead by example.

So if we win tonite and lose next week does this drop in morale and motivation still occur?

There are some extreme professional sportsmen in our team that are able to look past a scoreboard...look past a ladder ans.still compete as if their vying for first
Dont know how you can get into someone elses thinking like this
I'm talking about collective thinking.

You'd be naive to think that players don't look at the ladder, see how many wins we need etc etc

Once it looks like we need to win most of the remaining games, they look af the draw and all, they will start to think about next year. They'll start to think whether they have a contract, they'll start to worry whether the club will tap them on the shoulder etc.

One loss doesn't do that but 5 in a row does.

Effort is always important, but this specific game, winning is imoprtant too considering the amount of narrow losses we've had this year.

Yes, we have to get back into a winning mindset and habit.
Magic Round was our last win….7 weeks ago.

Im not convinced on that...i see a team competing pretty much for 80 most games and not giving up....if i start to see otherwise then maybe yes

Agree on the winning mindset that does wonders for everyone comcerned....a WW and then WWW in our last block with another couple would do us the world of good.
Its possible imo

Luai has had 4 opportunities in the last month to own a match winning moment in the last couple of minutes of a game. Souths, Cowboys, Penrith and Origin. In 2 of these he was a a huge factor in massive comebacks. He has shown he can own moments, and he's improving for us but if he doesn't own the result tonight we can't win.

Go forth ye attendees with the blessing and hopes of the forum.

For the eyes of the entire rugby league world are upon you.

I don’t care if we are playing the ‘Ken kangaroos, failure is not an option.

Let’s nail these lime spliced bastards and send Sticky home crying in pain this week.

No prancing around looking gay and jolly for paps tonight. Get a stretcher ready for him I say.

In the pages of future rugby league history, let tonight be known as our finest hour …and twenty minutes.

Wests Tigers, all righters, get it done boys.

Potential horror stretch starting tonight
- we are coming off 4 losses in a row ( with a bit of luck could have won all 4 )
- Rd 16 vs Canberra at Cambo ( probable minor premiers at a ground we never win )
- Rd 17 away to Manly
-Rd 18 away to Roosters
- Rd19 away to Warriors in NZ

Hard to believe Luai good to go less than 48 hours ago playing SOO in the rain in Perth
Most experts would expect the 4 losses in a row becomes 8 in a row
Hoping low expectations might free us up .Benji if you can win 2 or 3 of the next 4 you are a champion !

On current form the GF should be Canberra vs Dolphins
